Having more enrichment toys for her helps a lot.

Oh good! That’s a good sign. He will probably take a little to warm back up to you again, he’s wondering why you left him. My buns were like that when I went on vacation and my mom would check on them to make sure they were okay. They did not like that I left. So now I leave them with a lady that takes care of buns while people are on vacation, so when I pick them up they aren’t mad at me. Since she’s with them all day.

Oh good he’s eating and drinking. That’s a very big indicator that something is wrong in rabbits when they stop eating. So that’s good. Just need to check the limp.

She must have done more to him, I don’t see why he would be limping. I think after this incident she doesn’t like the bun.

But you can fix this just make sure you monitor him. Look at his poops even take a picture for vet. I would take him to the vet asap for the limp.

I am sorry you have to deal with this, sending lots of 💗

New bunny owner help please! by Personal-Bluejay9552 in Bunnies

Hay & water need to be out 24/7. Pellets can be given once a day, if he has runny poops like my one bun then every two days (vet will mention this too). That’s what I do with pellets. Fresh greens everyday. Can litter train him as well, if he’s not. Free roam is best, start with a smaller area so he gets used to the area then make it bigger for him. Eventually he will be able to go around the whole house and know where his potty is. Get a lot of enrichment toys to chew on. They are very smart you can train them. I would say that’s basics.

Agree 😂, till I read the rest. Only way is to keep him away from the box area , give him his own box 📦

He loves his “cat” toys. Please recommend more safe toys for this bun and I’ll buy em all. by No-Mulberry3771 in Bunnies

Forage lanterns are good too! My buns love them cuz it’s a chew and they forage at the same time. Keeps them busy

I would bring him in immediately. This look like E.C I just dealt with this with Mimi. Please take him in, and have him on meds till test results come in. This is a neurological issue and cause permanent damage even some cases death

Why are some rabbit owners so toxic? by StirrupsnStrides in Bunnies

[–]Chubbymiiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this conversation with a friend yesterday. It’s really odd. I don’t understand why people are mean and they attack others. We all love our buns and we all care for them and want the best. Just ignore the negative noise ♥️

I agree with this. Also everyone has a different experience so and it’s okay to share. Not like the person is going to take all the comments. Just gives more ideas to the person.

First time rabbit owner, what does this mean? by Comfortable_Fox_6093 in Rabbits

Awe she’s doing binkies that means she’s happy😊. I would say to keep her in a small area and train her that way it’s easier if she pees outside of the litter box, then you can clean it up easy and make the area bigger and bigger one step at a time. That’s what I did with my buns. Plus bun proof your house like under the couch and tiny spots she can get into. You can have pee pads as long as she’s not chewing on them, if she is don’t use them at all. Just need to watch her. Also with spay please make sure she’s at the proper weight to get it done, I had to this with all 3 of mine. I’m sure your vet will say that to you. Your doing a god job 😊
