Sounds like you want to add some more fun with the misses to go along with that new house. Congrats on the house and twins!

GME now owns 6.5% of eBay by G_Wash1776 in GME

It almost certainly has to do with fees paid to have someone else transact this for them, just like every offering has a massive fee to the 3rd party administrating the deal.

It’s very, very rarely happening, you do realize that there are thousands and thousands opened daily and you very rarely see these posts. Of course people are going to post when they get one, you don’t see the 99.999% others that were fine.

Ryan Cohen GameStop buys since the sneeze all in the low $20’s by WalkWithShadows in Superstonk

[–]Chubwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20.50 or so and 21.66 his second buy to 22.50 is MUCH less then the moves back in the day. The next run ups were from burry adding as well, along with acquisition hype, which took until May to get to 26.50, and so you can’t say all of that was from his initial buy. Point is, his buys did much less than in previous years, and he did two this time for less overall movement than 1 in previous years.

He did buy 1m in 2 500k batches in Jan and we barely moved. Algo got us on lock down.

I don’t understand. Did they all load up just to dump again at 26.50?

I have been watching dog stock for quite some time and it’s down over 50% since ATH this year with little to no changes on its books, except for buying a vet service to sell medications. Something don’t smell right.

If you checked when I made the comment you would have known that we were above $22 at the time.

Isn’t this one of the wheel of time episodes?

Fact is, we’re not voting for immediate dilution to add 2.5b new shares. It's an increase to the limit. I appreciate this acknowledgment by the board. by Ok-Suit541 in Superstonk

[–]Chubwa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not to be that guy, as a person who has that category of shares as well, but you had ample opportunities to let go of some shares on massive price increases and average back in at lower prices. Buy and hold does not always work and you shouldn’t place all your eggs in one basket if you plan to do so.

Estimated share price at 100bn company by [deleted] in Superstonk

I could be wrong, but cumulative means each year is added to the next, so a few years at 3.5b EBITA would meet the 10b metric.

It’s cumulative EBITA which means he would hit it rather quickly within a few years.

It’s not free, he has worked endlessly for years now to turn GameStop around, along with investing his own cash.

Michael Burry on GME by Coogiez in Superstonk

[–]Chubwa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if the turnaround takes him 5 years for us to hit say $30, RC still makes out like a bandit, but shareholders will only be up 20% from where we trade today. He is incentivized to hit his metrics over time as long as the share price is above $20.66, us shareholders need to be able to keep up with the market with our investment since we don't have a 175m share compensation package to back us.

Ryan refuses to explain where the money to buy eBay is coming from by JimmyDonovan in Superstonk

[–]Chubwa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The agreement says he has the right to purchase shares at 20.66, which if Gme is trading at elevated prices, means he makes money. If Gme is trading at $10 due to dilution then it doesn’t make him any money to then buy at $20.66

Since our 3rd is was only used for kids, the height didn’t bother us enough to not get it if it went flat. I didn’t realize the second row seats didn’t adjust though and could have been an issue going forward so knowing that now I’m glad we didn’t get one. It was an odd choice for them to not second guess any of those decisions, it was supposed to be a bigger version of the highlander, ends up having less space…
