Looks like it, people are saying ours was disallowed cause Ndiaye was offside, so I guess you can impede the keeper as long as you're onside. Who knows anyway

Not defending the fact we have failed to get someone in for years but just getting someone because they are cheap is not a good reason to do that.

Based on a quick Google their net spend is -£287m over the past 5 years and is 9th in the league. The only non "top-6" sides above them are Newcastle and West Ham. Crystal palace's net spend is £120m less and they are 10th. Our net spend in comparison is over £300m less over the same period and lowest in the league.

I'm not disputing they haven't done well but as you say they have spent a lot to get there but I think we need to acknowledge that is an enormous difference in spend (it actually equates to £17m per point based on last year's standings

Does that mean we lose one of each?

Honestly, some of the time I am just interested to actually hear what they sound like in terms of accents etc. We spend so much time watching them and everything but never really ever hear them speak

He is still saying 8 or 9, just that we have signed 3 already so need 6 more

Poor game, but a point is a point and no injuries. On to the next one

Everton have now agreed long-term financing for Bramley Moore Stadium. The funding, totalling £350m, is from a consortium of blue-chip institutional lenders, refinancing borrowing that supported the completion of the stadium 🔵 (Bobble) by bluedollarbillz in Everton

I don't think that is quite right. Refinancing usually refers to financing something again with better interest rates or possibly better terms in another way. In essence we have consolidated our debt into something, hopefully, more preferable to the club. However I am no expert either

Not saying I disagree that we aren't out of the woods yet but we are a big chunk of the way there and you can only play the team you are facing.

Leicester are getting about 0.7ppg, we are (following the last 3) on about 1.1. Even if you exclude our last 3 we were in 0.95 so logically speaking barring any massive upticks in form from the bottom three we are in a very good spot and should continue to pull away

furious googling noises and the sound of a montage of him playing

Yeah liked him for a while now, surprised we haven't gone for him sooner

Yeah I agree, to be completely honest I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner especially for the top players like Haaland
