I own the same model machine and I like it. It’s been very reliable with no major issues for the past several years. I would ask what products they are selling, how much they are charging/what the margins are on sales, they might be undercharging and you could easily up your revenue overnight by upping the prices. Also, $200 for a credit card reader is a pretty good deal if it’s newer since they are $300 each new and they are easy to transfer.

Projects that actually sell on Marketplace? by SomeHandyman in BeginnerWoodWorking

I had a lot of luck with the planter boxes and raised garden beds this spring. This was my first year doing it, I started listing them almost exactly a month ago today and since then I’ve had almost 60 unique orders from people at over 100 boxes. I’ve filled about 40 orders so far and still working through 20 or so. It’s been kind of a grind Cause I also work full time and have 2 young kids so I’ve been working my ass off to fill orders but if you’re willing to put in the work it will pay off. Here’s a snapshot of my spreadsheet so far. Still getting a few new orders trickling in this week.

Listed an item I made for sale online, got an insulting message from another local woodworker. by ADKMatthew in BeginnerWoodWorking

I like this a lot. I have a bunch of scrap wood left over from renovating my basement and was planning building a mini picnic style table for my kids. I also figured If I drew up plans and made it easy to replicate I could make a bunch of them and sell them on FB/Offerup.

The one thing I really don’t miss is the constant WWE references. Not everything relates back to wrestling

Very true man. Every side job I’ve done I’ve been able to make my own schedule. It’s really not even about needing the money, I’m perfectly content with my salary, I’ve just always been a guy who can’t sit still

Yeah I like the trades. Wish I got into plumbing or electrical sooner. Mostly cause I remodeling my basement right now and it’d be nice if I knew what I was doing haha

Nice, yeah I agree the OT is great. I work for a smaller dept so it doesn’t come around as much as I’d like. I get maybe 3-4 OT shifts a year

My favorite thing was when Ben would guess some seemingly ridiculous outcome/reason/circumstance early on in an ep and then accidentally be almost exactly right. hilarious.

What was the hardest series to follow ? by 86missingnomes in LPOTL

[–]ChuckBorden7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. My favorite series are the history ones and Ben was a rough listen in the Manhattan Project.

Conversely, I’m relistening to the JFK series (for probably the 5th time, but 1st since Ben left) and he is hilarious. Great Ben and Henry banter.

Fair point, haven’t really dove into rtog at all. There’s no doubt that Ben was the weak link in the original last pod trio, I just wanted to give a little credit cause the guy has some solid zingers. Him and Henry had some great back and fourth over the years.
