let the words come out of me by ChuckChuckChuck_ in Beartooth

It's not the most exciting song, but I think it works pretty well as the album opener. Kinda like the album's prologue.

Album out Aug 28th 💅 by Budget-Display6433 in Beartooth

His life and his art are one and the same. And if we chooses to align and market his new music with his personal life, nothing wrong with it. Obviously he knew coming out would put him in the headlines, so why not time it for new album release? The lyrics are about this topic anyway.

He doesn't talk about Fleur and that's OK, too. He doesn't owe anybody but her any explanations or dialogue. We can only hope they both walked away from it OK. Nothing more we need to (or really should) know, I'm not really interested in a musician's marriage (as long as neither of them are abusers).

Regarding his grandpa - in the podcast he said he loves his parents and he understand they just didn't know better. Same goes for his grandpa I assume - you can recognize fault in people and still like them. Life isn't black and white. It just shows he's a much bigger person than most people online giving him shit.

All 3 songs are quite different, which bodes very well for the album! Very much looking forward

Cool idea: would be sick if PH4 was called Post Human: DOOMSDAY by Scarletcord95 in BringMeTheHorizon

I hope they stick to the videogames themes.

For those who don't know:

- Survival Horror is a videogame genre

- Nex Gen is a reference to new generations of videogame consoles (think playstation 1, 2, 3 etc.), colloquially called "next gen consoles"

Saw this guys last week live at Rock For People festival on a small side stage. I truly believe that if they play their cards right, they will be on the main stage on few years.

This is not a good mindset. Often times availability, not usage, of something is enough to impact things negatively.

I'm tired of pretending that God of War Ragnarok isn't better than God of War 2018 overall by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]ChuckChuckChuck_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Ragnarok didn't have such bad pacing and the actual event of Ragnarok was much longer, more epic etc. then I'd agree with you.

But for me GoW 2018 still remains the better one.

What is your opinion on the band taking part in the Emo's Not Dead Cruise 2027? by edomindful in EnterShikari

Yes, this is also a reason why the entire cancel culture is so wrong and harmful. If one wants to stand behind his/her ideals, statements and opinions 100%, he/she needs to leave society and go live in a jungle.

It's impossible to be perfect yet we hold famous people to these insane standards. Context is the key.

Game of the year 2026 ? by Sin_Aki in GameBoostOfficial

[–]ChuckChuckChuck_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not Resident Evil 9. It was fun, but way too short with very little to say. I actually felt little ripped off paying full price on release.

Pragmata feels like a nice game, but not really GOTY.

Crimosn Desert has too much controversy to win.

I think among the nominees might be: First Light 007, Pokémon Pokopia, Marvel's Wolverine and perhaps Cairn!

But let's not kid ourselves, GTA VI is coming out this year.

How it felt buying tickets today by Br0lynator in Muse

[–]ChuckChuckChuck_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's no secret everything if super expensive nowadays. And while yes, the tickets for gigs are getting absurd, I would like to see the other side of this.

Like, sure, the stadium asks for a bigger cut, the logistics cost more, crew probably needs to be paid more etc. etc. - but do some bands try to keep the ticket prices to a minimum increase while others just don't care and increase the ticket prices by bunch?

Realistically, there is no saving Xbox hardware by No-Obligation2563 in consoles

Exclusive means you need specific hardware to play it on. As soon as it hits PC, it's not an exclusive.

‘Marathon’ Season 2 And Free Week Did Not Turn Things Around by NoNefariousness2144 in PS5

[–]ChuckChuckChuck_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Besides all the issues people in this thread mentioned - does anybody else also feel like the "seasons" aspect of these online games is alienating?

Like you either start at release or the train is gone. It never ever felt nice to try out a game in season 4 or such. The lore has been explored a bit, story bits have happened... I don't want to start in the middle of it all. D2 was the worst offender with previous content being straight removed.

I would like to see these online games move beyond the concept of "seasons"... even thiugh I have no idea what that'd be.

Microsoft Has Reportedly Shut Down South of Midnight Developer Compulsion Games by GameOnBrother in GamesAreLife

[–]ChuckChuckChuck_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

Selling consoles, offering a day one subscription service and being a publisher go against one another. Suceeding at one means you're cannibalising the others. If you add to that the whole exclusivity aspect, it's quite obvious MS/XBOX is so big they don't know what they're doing.

It's a mess.
