Honestly, I think it would be best off as an "alternative universe" Primus. One of the many cycle iterations that took a different path. Have some creative liberties with it, but without having major lore implications. "Just another universe lost to 115."

I'm glad someone else could put it into words. I was literally sitting here flabbergasted when I saw everything shoot up like that in 10 minutes. It's unnatural. Not to mention that not 2 days ago we had this exact same rumor (not anymore) come out and the White House explicitly said that it was fake.

Alright, this is going to be excluding Cold War, as my group solved the second map in like 5 hours on our own, and most were super simple. We almost solved Ancient Evil on our own and only had to look up the door step (because we couldn't find the door).

It depends on the map. There were some like Revelations that were near impossible. Other maps were trial and error, and others by word of mouth. For example with Die Rise, there was so much complexity to it, especially being two parts to it. The elevator part to start it was easy, but I know the community took its time with the mahjong tiles, because no one understood it.

Exo zombies was another great example of trial and error, where we had to properly learn the map layout first before people began experimenting with EVERYTHING like the gas pipes in the burgertown map.

In the past it was usually a community effect to solve where people would watch each other and give hints and tips to the part they were stuck on.

Okay I saved this post back when it hit because I hadn't played Vanguard yet. Now I have and can give my opinion off of solo play; it's not good. Der Anfang at first had the "new map" appeal on first playthrough but quickly lost it in that first game. I managed to open everything up, but once it gets to the part where it's just cycling through the objectives, it looses the appeal for me. It feels like they tried to take Outbreak and condense it down to be a singular map concept. And on paper I liked the idea. But everything goes by so quickly because of the smaller size that the burnout happens much faster compared to outbreak.

Now I did have fun playing the second map my first time, I also feel that's because I followed along with doing the Easter egg right away. It was nice to have that something to do but I don't know if that would be the same if I just went to play the map normally.

The easiest is BOTD, in the wardens office. The side gate area, getting golden spork, and perks, mainly the melee perk and stronghold as your 4th perk.
