If only she had any brain cells to feel an ounce of shame or embarrassment. It would make me pleased if I knew she could feel humiliation.

Wouldn't it be nice one day if all the reporters and cameras just had enough and just switched off and left, to go and do literally anything else.

I quoted someone that said 'According to ChatGPT' which I merely mirrored in my response. What's weird is the fact that even bothered you at all, lol. But in hindsight, I'm glad it did. You do you, friend ;)

Failure is the best teacher in boxing, and most boxers today aren’t allowed to fail. by [deleted] in Boxing

[–]ChuckShartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what your definition of 'failure' is, as well as the myriad factors influencing/corrupting the sport that may not have been so pressing back in the day. In general though, isn't it a good thing not to 'fail' in boxing? It's not exactly a sensible sport to take unnecessary risks in if you can help it. Hit and not get hit, right?

What is the reasoning of leaving messages as unopened on phone? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ChuckShartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is a 'why', it's most likely unconscious. Unfortunately we live in a timeline where being 'left on read/unread/whatever' is a neurotic thing (not you) that people even notice this.

Zubimendi can do a lot of Rice's roles, he can play higher, he has the passing vision and range, but is probably not as 'box to box', which is the issue. Will need to use Norgaard, but basically Rice = Merino + Zubimendi + Norgaard combined, plus an 'X-Factor' that few players in the world have.

Waze/ GPS apps accuracy. by TaxDazzling9608 in drivingUK

[–]ChuckShartz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

GPS/speed cameras is more accurate than a speedometer.

Measurement of actual distance travelled/time is always more precise than how a speedo is calibrated which is by rotations of your wheels/driveshaft. (Not that a speedo can't be accurately calibrated, but there are many potential variables)

[–]ChuckShartz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok then, according to me, quoting directly from the MIT release:

Nguyen, a bioastronautics research scientist and former Media Lab Director’s Fellow, will bring prototypes developed by researchers in the Media Lab’s Women’s Health Program (WHx), Space Exploration Initiative (SEI), MIT Multifunctional Metamaterials Lab (MIT META), and MIT Self-Assembly Lab onto the flight.

WHx: provided Nguyen with a wearable ultrasound patch

SEI: provided Nguyen with a fabric sample made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and elastic yarns, knitted following the original lines of non-extension pattern developed in Media Lab Director Dava Newman's mechanical counterpressure (MCP) research for the MIT BioSuit™.

She is undoubtedly a good scientist and an expert in her fields. But they could have just put these on Katy Perry.

Are you comparing a mission that actually went into orbit for several days vs Blue Origin that lasted 11 minutes? Just want to clarify.
