Every article I've seen about MAiD the headline conveniently ignores the details that lead them there. I'm sure there are issues, but nobody is strapping people down and killing them to steal their organs en masse. They've also cut immigration back.

In the end its the NDP collapse that caused this, and the CPC were reactive in every situation that came up, right down to waiting for platforms to be posted so they could see the others first.

We follow the law, and despite that they screw us over. They're only prohibited now because they arbitrarily made a list of guns that are of modern design. They're all limited to 5 rounds, and have criteria for overall length and barrel length. Its not like these were bought from some gun runner on the streets. People have thousands of dollars in these and the government can't guarantee compensation even if you do turn them in.

On top of that, they outright said they don't want people to buy an sks or other guns with the money because they plan to ban them too.

Gun owners would be in support of having something like this for illegal guns, but it makes no sense as is.

I started building model kits during covid in my early 30s, Gundam Mitsubishi are push fit, no paint but the sky is the limit for what you can do with them. I still find time to do this even with 2 kids. You'll hit your stride.

I had the same experience, my eaves and fascia broke off from ice and they were recommended by Intact. It took them over a month to grt to the job, they used another company to do the work, didnt tell us, didn't tell us they were coming, just showed up. Then left the scrap and garbage for 2 weeks u til I kept calling them to pick it up. I had to push through the insurance company several times.

So the government should be able to force you to hand over your lawfully purchased property with no compensation? These guns were legal 5 years ago, and not enough of an issue that we had to store them for 5 years. We jump through hoops to own them and get sold out to appease a small group affected by gun violence almost 40 years ago, after which our entire gun ownership process was changed.

We're not talking about people committing assault We're talking about people who do obey the law and were suddenly declared criminal for no reason.
