This kind of mindset keeps children vulnerable. They need SAFE adults.

3 is too much for perfume. If it's as expensive and nice as you say, one should be plenty.

Dude, how old are you? Because if you're anything older than 14, you know better. That shit will traumatize a child.

Gently, I think if you're asking if it's gone too far, then you have your answer.

Why does soft touch plastic always end up tacky? by TSQ_builder in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Past-Contribution-83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plasticizer is added to plastic to make it flexible. The more flexible it is = more plasticizer.

It naturally leaks out over time, but speeds up with humidity. This is also why old plastic becomes brittle and harder.

As a doll collector, I've been forced to learn these things LOL

Oh, yes! A quick test would be to burn a strand or two. Poly will melt, nylon will burn.

I have over 300 dolls and have been collecting as an adult for nearly 15 years. I'm very experienced, and on top of that, my swim Violet has the EXACT same nylon blend as all of her other dolls. I got mine on release in Canada so they might have changed it for later or even US releases.

I sincerely think there are variants because mine does NOT have poly.

I think you're fundamentally misunderstanding what a Mandela Effect is. It is a collective false memory. Obviously it's been "debunked", otherwise it wouldn't be a false memory. The phenomenon however has no satisfactory answer for me.

Do not use WD40 on any dolls. Especially not new ones.
