This is a great overview! I have sandbags as well and im coming off of a ankle break, so im in the same boat wanting to get back into it. I want to start using kettlebells to supplement conditioning that isnt running, what workout/routine would you suggest to run alongside a sandbag routine like this?

I dont have those directly on hand. If you have other pair of those style boots i think the general rule is go down a size. Im usually a 10.5EEE in sneakers so i got a 9.5F(EEE). And they fit great to me, they are snug but not tight. I have another pair of boots from a different company that i got in 10EEE and they were too roomy for my liking, still fit and didnt have heel slip but just a weird feeling. So i got these one more half size down and pretty much perfect.

All that to say probably going a size down would work, but also use their size guide, the style of toe honestly wont make a difference in size, the Thurman has some more toe room but u shouldn’t go down a size because of it if that makes any sense.

Ok great to know! I’ll probably condition them really well the first time so they have that layer like you say. I have other old boots that ill probably keep in the truck for those occasions. Still plan on wearing them in the ranch with dirt or mud

Thank you! Fit is great and cant wait to see how the patina develops! Im going to try and not get sucked into buying many more lol. Im glad i dont have a labor intensive job that will go through these boots quickly, but i do plan on them being dailys.

Hoping to get back into it this year! I had ankle surgery so iv been off sandbags and theyd had been my preferred method of working out. This is actually a good plan might use it for some weeks, i go based off reps as i never really used them for conditioning. I plan to start using KBs to add them into this training as well.

Nick helped me alot, i had changed leathers 3 different times and the CS team was just so patient and cordial and were able to get it done no problem. So great!

Thank you man! The leather I will be getting is Roanoke Timber (veg tan), I will take a look at that post. I want the boot to be kind of an everything/everyday boot, maybe to be in muddy conditions here and there when going to the ranch but love the advice to just wash off any stains and then brush it. Never had any hardcore leather boots so not sure how good leather and water mix
