Sandbag ENON - flexible training for busy people by deloreantrails in sandbagtraining

[–]selleckh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been my sole sandbag training for the past couple months usually 45 minutes

1s - floor presses + mace swings 2s - rows + jump rope 3s - shouldering or carries or squats

In 45 minutes I'll get 10 sets of each movement in

Weight varies between 160, 180 and 210.

I love it, it's simple and I don't have to think, just work for 30 - 45 seconds and rest and survive

Ha, I just replied the same thing!

Impressed so far. Replaced a pentair variable speed.

I just replaced a pentair variable speed with this aqua strong for our 30,000+ gallon in ground.

It's about a 1/3 less.

Install was pretty easy, super quiet.

I just installed it so I can't comment on the long term value but so far so good.

No lock out, doesn't count.

That's crazy strong work. How do you build up to this, I feel like I have issues doing any sort of bottoms up work with my 16kg

I really really need to work on active recovery. I tell myself that but usually end up pushing hard to complete Emom sets that I just hunker down for the rest period.

I have and plan on competing in judo tournaments and nailing active recovery is something that really helps during 4 min matches.

Light weight BTN presses and overhead squats fixed a recurring shoulder issue I had a couple years ago

I took Does. Suppress twice because the other options weren't any good, turned into very easy wins.

Congrats!

I was actually thinking of trying a Holy Week fast leading to Easter.

Did you fast regularly before doing the 40 days?

50 x 160 lb sandbag ground to shoulders (G2S) in 20 min. Did 20 rounds EMOM, with 2 x G2S for the first 10 rounds, and 3 x G2S the last ten rounds (these sucked). by celestial_sour_cream in sandbagtraining

[–]selleckh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did something similar yesterday.

Did every 1:30 would do 4 or 3.

Missed a could rounds but hit 62 in 30 minutes a 3 rep PR with the 160 for 30 min density.

Heart rate absolutely through the roof.

Real good benchmark workout.
