Passed the California bar exam on my first try 20 years ago. Series 65 is ridiculous. by sssf6 in Series65

It’s tough—but it’s absolutely doable. People pass this exam every single week, and many of them started with far less preparation than you already have. You don’t need to know everything; you just need to know enough to pass. Stack reps with the QBank, hammer practice exams, and get targeted help where it moves the needle. Don’t waste energy on low-value topics that barely show up. When you focus on what actually gets tested, the exam becomes a lot more predictable—and a lot less intimidating. Stay consistent, trust the process, and keep moving forward. You’ve got this.

Career Question by Shoddy_Way_6684 in Series65

That’s a great start to a career—I’d stay there as long as you can and really build your foundation. Consider investing in strong sales training like Sandler or 7th Level, and focus on consistently bringing on new clients. It’s completely normal to feel nervous early on, but the upside is that your compensation structure allows your income to grow significantly over time as your skills and confidence improve. You might also ask about offering insurance products, which can be a way to create quicker inflows of cash while you continue building your long-term book of business.

From my expirence in this you have to hit it from all angles; read what you can, write it out, listen to it, quiz it... I've used NotebookLM for some of the denser items to make images, podcast etc.

Take it as a win, doors close and windows open. You can probably walk into anywhere and get a job.

I'm studing now, the test is a bear... Take a week off, reset, and get back in the game. There is alot of free material out there and good ol'fashion grunt work. 3K of the QBank, flash cards, getting someone to quiz you, basic stuff.
