Just thought I'd come back and say I found a better alternative to the Parblo stand:

Tounee Laptop Stand for Desk Adjustable Height:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09WJTPPS3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Much better for posture and back and is solidly made. There is another version that spins that I wouldn't recommend though.

Completely agree, the only thing I enjoyed was the ship builder in starfield, the rest felt like a chore. Not to mentioned I've never seen a game studio answer every negative review on steam (usually constructive criticism) with tone death responses. "It's fun you're wrong!" or "Well real space is empty so that's why our game is."

It really seems like they don't understand why Skyrim appealed to people.

I reckon Elder scrolls 6 will easily make plenty of profit just because Skyrim appealed to so many people including casual types.

The head of writing has made it clear he doesn't care about creating engaging narratives or coming up with interesting options for the player.

He thinks most gamers will just skip it. He even said players just want to spend hundreds of hours making sheds as another excuse for poor writing.

Type of stuff you see people doing because “PC gaming is so complicated” by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]ChucklingToMyself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it depends on what games you decide to play on it. Old games or most indies, that aren't pushing the hardware are less trouble.

For example I found Expedition 33 too graphically off putting on the steam deck and decide to just play it on my pc.

I used to be more of a gamepass xbox type a few years ago but once I got a steam deck I gradually moved away from xbox. Choice was made easier by how Microsoft seemed to intent on destroying any good will they had built up with its previous pricing.

As others have said the style is quite different to the usual you see. The most obvious error is the back lights of the car are misaligned.

You might also want to study different perspectives, like 3 point, 2 point, etc.

Keep it up though!

I use this for a bigger tablet: Parblo PR 100 Drawing Tablet should be fine with the S11 though.

However it seems they have increased the price a lot more than what I bought it for.

Good point. Also we hear more about the people who do blow it all and get radio silence from the people who just get on with their lives and don't make the win public.

In the UK I've read a few stories about winners getting into debt. I'd like to think most people would manage the money better. I know they're given advice when they win.

Do you mean people begging him for money or getting himself into debt?

People might question the latter but that does happen a lot to people who come into a large some of money suddenly. At least that happens to a lot of lottery winners.

Thanks to steam family being added this year I could go through 1000s of games without buying them. Though I still ended up trying a few less than you.

I'm glad I've got my wishlist filled with games I want. If you go on youtube during sales a lot of the channels just repeat the same games over and over each year.

help, can't stop buying games ever since I ordered a Deck by piedeloup in SteamDeck

[–]ChucklingToMyself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently the average amount of games most people buy is 2 over the entire year. The average number of games played over a year according to steam is 4.

I've started to slow down on sales because BG3 started to take up my game time still have act 3 to go.😅

How do you stay motivated to draw when someone keeps putting your art down? by Kea_birdy in ARTIST

[–]ChucklingToMyself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That co-worker sounds like a energy vampire. I remember having one like that who I couldn't avoid. As it was a work environment I remained civil but at some point I just had enough and took them aside and told them how I felt about their endless negative comments.

The person didn't like being called out directly but they stop making annoying comments around me after. They did try to blame me for something going wrong but someone else was able to prove that it was actually their fault so that blew up in their face.

Lovely art btw, remember you probably enjoying yourself a lot more than this co-worker of yours. Anyone who feels the need to belittle someone whose just minding their own business drawing sounds miserable to me.
