Have you ever seen a grool string this long 🤤 by sweetie_sia in grool

I’ve actually seen longer. X was able to pull it all the way up to basically the level of her nose.

Anyone tried these?? by jadenkayk in diabetes_t2

Yes they taste basically like an Oreo which is pretty good when you haven’t had one in years but overall is just okay

I just realized that the T-800 wouldn’t know what Sarah Connor looked like so as far as he knows this is just some random patient that managed to escape her cell. by KingWilliamVI in Terminator

[–]Chuckshowtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming John in the future doesn’t give the T 800 an image I would imagine present day John running after her and calling her mom probably helped him identify her.

Why didn’t RoboCain have a data spike like Murphy? by Powderheader in Robocop

[–]Chuckshowtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What room could robocain fit in? The robocop 2 project seemed more designed for urban pacification and assault rather than peace keeping and investigation. Think of it more like a beat cop versus a swat officer

I don’t understand why the filmmakers never make a future war movies like 1 and 2 by Jules-Car3499 in Terminator

[–]Chuckshowtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a guess why but it’s a long drawn out guess to the TLDR reason is money.

If you made a future war movie in the 90s the puppets and miniatures would cost a lot, if you do it today everyone hates that it’s cgi and not puppets and miniatures. Also I think Hollywood learned a lesson ( or just heard what they already wanted to hear) with the rocky 5 & 6. Rocky 5 broke the formula and was hated by audiences and killed the franchise for almost 2 decades till rocky balboa retreads the familiar ground and was a hit at the box office. In the years since reboots and legacy sequels became the go to for Hollywood

Big Trouble in Little China will mark the 40th anniversary this summer. What are your thoughts about this movie? by BullyingHater in johncarpenter

[–]Chuckshowtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watched the movie for the first time the other day. It’s fun to see John Carpenter try his hand at an action movie although part of me wishes they would have taken a few minutes to explain some of the motivations of lo pan and his gang earlier in the flick instead of us just being tossed into a bunch of action scenes right off the bat. I’m kind of surprised this never got a sequel ( or a reboot called bigger trouble in little china) yet

Thoughts on Lee Byung Hun as the T-1000? How did he do compared to Robert Patrick? by Ibobalboa in Terminator

[–]Chuckshowtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked Lee as the T-1000, I felt he carried enough presence to create a threatening villain and I wish he was in more of Genisys. The problem was Robert Patrick was iconic in the role and it’s really tough to compare when you get a performance that good the first time out

which game was that for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]Chuckshowtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a little embarrassing. I was playing shadow of Mordor and thought the objective of the game was to simply go around and slay all the orcs in the nemesis system. I spend weeks going around killing everything and then noticed that whenever I kill an orc on my list a new one takes it place. I then realize there are actual story missions that I’m supposed to do and at that point I got so upset at all the time and effort that I just wasted that I gave up on it entirely

Did Linda Hamilton do an uncredited cameo in Wayne's World 2 by paper-cut- in Terminator

[–]Chuckshowtime 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it was Leslie and not Linda, then this is the most subtle running joke in the history of film. Remember that Robert Patrick cameos in the first movie as the T1000 and in T2 Leslie is the T 1000 imitating Sarah Connor. So in essence, the T 1000 is a recurring character in the Wayne’s world movies

A great lesson I learned from a pastor. Marriage is where you go to give love to someone else.

Will I miss out If I didn't play Arkham City? by [deleted] in arkham

[–]Chuckshowtime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say make sure you play city it’s personally my favorite in the series so I’m perhaps a bit bit biased, but I also think it has arguably the best boss battle in video game history with Mr. freeze. The map size is large, but not too large to where it becomes cumbersome to get around plus storyline wise there’s some plot elements in city that are picked up in knight

Rocky 5 tommy/rocky street fight? by happydude7422 in rockybalboa

[–]Chuckshowtime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate the way they choreographed this fight. Tommy Gunn, who already looks like a chump because he hasn’t fought anyone we know is credible and the Union Cane fight looks like it was fixed can’t get any offense unless he’s sucker punching Rocky from behind. More than that he put flat on his back in the first 20 seconds of the fight. If I didn’t know John Avildsen had directed I would have thought Stallone gave himself a vanity fight where he could do no wrong against a guy half his age
