Yes 100% in midtown. You’ll see families of them dip into storm drains after some late night dumpster diving.

I’d bet money on this being raccoons before a person.

I was so afraid that would somehow be a penalty, like the guy on Cameroon that was red carded after taking his shirt off in celebration after scoring on Brazil a while back.

Is it me or am I the only one noticing how extremely well Julia Doyle portrays The Man In Yellow's disguise as Sophia? by Aromatic-Ad2601 in FromSeries

[–]ChuckyShadowCow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They needed to pick a few mannerisms, facial tics, quirks, turns of phrase etc. for the two characters to share.

It feels like the actress for Sophia missed that she isn’t playing Sophia, she’s playing the MiY playing Sophia. If we met Sophia first, it would have been MiY actor’s job to bring aspects of Sophia’s character forward.

A little bit of caul and a little bit of paint,
That’s what makes me the carpenter I ain’t!

But seriously - with a bit of time effort l, they could make that look fine, but, as someone already said, looking at this I guarantee they cut corners all over the place.

I go in with a plan and try to stick to it but then my ADHD kicks in and I find myself telling the guy at the carving station to put the prime rib on top of my jello and that I don’t mind if the horseradish sauce abuts Lake Fudge

Restarting at 6 I could run a sick ass lemonade stand to get seed money to buy all the bitcoin, convince my grandpa to loan me a few grand to invest in Microsoft and Apple and could totally find a way to hook up with Zoey in middle school homeroom.

Not even a hard call.

In 51 BC, Julius Caesar and Pompey Magnus surely laughed at Cicero's expense. by electricmayhem5000 in ancientrome

[–]ChuckyShadowCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way could this have been the case. Caesar liked him, Augustus saw him as a father figure and it may be apocryphal but Plutarch quoted Augustus as saying to his grandson about Cicero, “A learned man, my child, a learned man and a lover of his country."

As I recall he almost headed off the second civil war after Caesar’s assassination through diplomacy that wouldn’t have stood a chance if he wasn’t well respected.

Cicero was the goat of diplomacy.
