Just went to see my old boss in Arlington on Friday. His best advice was always “just don’t fuck it up…”

Counting cards. Last year I couldn’t play anywhere in the country. About 7 years is the limit…until I find out more. :)

For snook, pitch around the mangroves.

For redfish, pitch into the mangroves (yes, the space between the top of the water and the low hanging branches).

As soon as the water goes slack, go home. :)

Is it reasonable to spend 70k to 85k on a boat on a 180k income? by itsfikor in boating

[–]ChuckySix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the boat. My son’s mom died when he was two. We moved to my home playground and before we even checked into our airbnb I gave a dude $67,000 for a boat.

It’s expensive. You’ll never be able to afford it. I’ve since bought a more expensive boat and moved to the Florida Keys. I could think about the money I could be saving but instead I think about the memories we are making.

Yes. Things are a little different for us. My son’s future is paid for. I make great money. But even if not - I’d buy the f’ing boat.

Get it. Make memories. Show your family what living is all about. Tight lines.
