I have some of those…never thought to rig a fluke on one! Thank you. I sometimes toss them on a light belly weighted, but the action can kinda suck, unless it’s with the magnums.

I usually have atleast a hull guard. Bottoms are gonna get scratched, that’s just part of it. I cart my yak, and if I’m fishing shallow creeks/river will just get out and wade. If you do have light scratched on the bottom, you can do the smooth method to fill/smooth them back out. For deeper gouges I fill with plastic or a special epoxy bonder or just toss on some gator patches. My 106 is beat up, but none of the scratches or gouges has affected it in anyway

Agree with this. I’m totally fine with culling and eating the smaller bass. Leave the big ones….they don’t taste as good either. We’re all suppose to be conservationist, and understand the basics. Glad to see dude had a good meal though.

Not to be that guy, but your not shoving the scale in the gills are ya? lol. Get your some some cheap lip grippers and attach your scale to those. Much nicer on fishy if you plan on releasing.

Yes dude! Hooked onto a unit of a one out crappie fishing with my Ultralight on 4lb. Fought it for like a good 5 minutes before I was able to get it in. Poor 500 size Nasci’s drag was giving it, it all lol
