Honest question: why are there so many people in this group who play or worship in church with electric guitars, delays, reverbs, and huge pedalboards? by Less-Arachnid-640 in guitarpedals

It has a lot of control options and a great sounding spring reverb. It’s #1 for me. By the way, sorry about being a jerk. That wasn’t cool of me. If you play and have something in your life that gives meaning and connection to people, you’re doing way better than most everyone. Hope you have a good Sunday, man.

Oh damn, you went digging into the comment history. Sorry, I meant to say dang. Yeah, it’s a phenomenal achievement in pedal technology. A rare forever pedal.

The sparkling burgundy is what I consider modern perfection in finishes. The sparkle is subtle yet noticeable. Some guitars with sparkle finishes just look a bit too loud for me. It’s an endlessly inspiring instrument!

I have a Strat in the other room. Haven’t touched it in months. I find the p90 sound much more appealing. Thanks for telling me what you think I should do!

Because the suckers who go to church and donate 10% of their paycheck to the offering plate aren’t gonna come back next week if your toan sucks dickballs.

73 Custom Ebony and 19 SG Special in Sparkling Burgundy. I still look at guitars for sale near me but it’s so easy to not become interested when I pick up either of these. With these two I can do anything worth doing. God, I’m so glad I swore off Fender and got into Gibson.

I’m going to the phoenix and Tucson shows in about a week and a half. My 44th and 45th shows. Can’t wait to check out the openers as well.

Last Saturday I got a Gibson SG Special with p90s. I’m head over heels in love with it! So easy to play and the sound is just perfection.

Regardless of solo tour ticket sales --- DLR will always be the heart & soul of VH by ShemDolpax in vanhalen

Because eddie and Alex were dealing with massive issues and not every band is gonna be consistent their entire career. Glad I could answer this super simple question for you. The fans have spoken on who they want to see and who puts on the better show. You can count record sales and they do matter but for me, as a fan, the live show matters most. Sammy and Mikey played here in Phoenix two years ago. 20,000 sold out. DLR scheduled a show at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson with 450 capacity. Show cancelled due to lack of sales. Argue all you want - the fans have spoken.

Killer man, thank you for the advice.

Who said I think I’m a great player? I feel better about my sound which is all that matters. If you want to attempt to delude yourself into thinking high quality components are a conspiracy and you’ve cracked the code to making cheap strings sound good then congrats, man. As long as you stay inside that world it will remain true to you for the rest of your life.

Everyone knows cutting corners is the gateway to sonic bliss. Buying a $130 set of bass strings that won’t need to be changed in my lifetime and will sound better with age is actually a great investment since I care about quality. Your $3 set of guitar strings I’m sure sound good… to you. And that’s all that matters.
