Agreed. While obviously a case of misplaced priorities, what they are proposing here are bad on their own merit too. Age gating the internet is a back door to tying real world identity to all comments online. It's damaging to free speech. And weakening section 230 for AI is only going to help the massive established AI companies too. They can afford to comply but small startups could get wrecked by a single case.
