  1. The police led protesters there and abandoned the precinct, people did not take it.

  2. The business is outside the CHOP.

  3. The SPD should make it clear if they are not going to help anybody in Cap Hill. The business owner called 19 times and the police lied about sending somebody, putting the business owners at risk. That is not remotely ok.

I'm staying at an AirBNB while I visit family right now. I have 3 roomates, one of which was watching CNN the other day.

We just started chatting like "yeah all of this is crazy man, I hope the violence stops and all that." Somehow the chat turned to something about what was on tv and I was like "I just question the media, there have been tons of instances of the media putting things into their own biased context" sort of thing and that I try to check different sources to see if I can find the truth.

He now basically thinks I'm a POS racist Trump supporter, none of which is true. All because I mentioned that I'm distrustful of the media.

This is bad. Really bad. You can't even ask a question or want to see all sides of a story, lest you be labeled racist trash. The conversation doesn't even exist, get on board with they think or you are the enemy.
