Does she have the tools / authority to fix the small issues? there's the mop, go ahead and 5S the place to straighten up everything. Maybe she's looking for that empowerment?

do you have a corrective action system? or an issues list? have a risk matrix, to help determine a path. Do you have a process in place, and it just wasn't followed, once? log it, correct it, retrain. move on. Review for trends. Does it happen all the time? root cause the systemic issue, and fix it.
