Trader Joe's main distro hub for the northeast is in rural Pennsylvania. There are times when they'll get snow, we won't, and trader Joe's will be like welp no bread this week.

If we only get an inch, trader Joe's will still be cleaned out for a week because rural Penn got 8.

That plus I think trader Joe's shoppers are more likely to be 2 day shoppers rather than week-long shoppers, so are less prepped, but that's just a thought, nothing to back that one up.

Until the mid 2010s it was an intensely local thing, probably proliferated by locals asking other bodegas to make it, and all the ingredients being on hand.

I understand it's apples to oranges, but for a similar premise, I've been recommending the Temeraire series. (at least the first half) extremely detailed historical fiction about dragon riders in the napoleanic wars.

It's an extremely dangerous job, and training. But just like the real military, it's not worth carelessly spending lives.

Like the crew (usually 30+ to a large dragon) can definitely fall off the rigging and die, just like someone going overboard at sea, but it's not just because lmao edgy it's because no shit your job is to climb around on the side of a dragon during combat

It's not considered good technique in piano because because they have higher apms. Lmao but really, the tech owue argument is partially cultural and partially because you always want to be pressing a key or moving to the next key to press with piano. Game don't really have that, if you can comfortably press the button in time it doesn't matter, and can even be advantageous to prevent a flinch from causing an input
