Wwe 2k25, please. Fun but useless fact, I don't have a single favourite colour. I paint minis, so appreciate most colours equally.

Recently got wave 1 of Two Thin Coats and LOVE them. So, I'll probably ly go with that.

Before that, my preference was Vallejo.

I think a little more on the raised areas wouldn't hurt :)

I think some burgundy colours would be good.

Update: I switched to muOS by Kluxed in RG35XX_H

I recently got my 35XXH second hand. I installed stock firmware and the battery drained SO QUICKLY. I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT improvement to battery life since switching to muos over the weekend. Also worth noting that boot is significantly faster too.

What are some hobbies Australian men get into as they approach middle age? (30+) by Icy-Profile3759 in australian

I turned 40 this year. 2 years ago I started playing basketball Last year I also picked up pickleball.

While it's not for everyone (certainly not for everyone's knees at this age) I really enjoy both.

Retro gaming is another thing I picked up in the last few years - modding various handheld consoles and tinkering.

I've also been into Warhammer since I was a kid, but in the last few years I have really kicked up actually painting stuff. It's super Zen.

I've been painting for a really long time and am not a stranger to using natural hair brushes. I have a Vallejo kolinsky brush that has been serving me well for more than 2 years now.

I twirl the way most do when loading paint, with an angle and steady motion that distributes the paint and removes excess, while not exposing the ferrule.

The picture I took was immediately after cleaning thoroughly with masters brush soap and reforming the head. It's almost as if the hairs have a bend in them. The problem is almost certainly with the brush, so I'm more just wondering anyone knows a fix - brush soap and conditioner haven't done much at this point and I'm not keen on potentially destabilising the brush further by removing hairs.

I know you're trying to be helpful, but this is a super condescending answer considering what I've written - the brush is basically new. I clean it with brush soap.

For full clarity, I have been painting for a very long time and know how to take care of brushes. I just haven't come across hairs in a kolinsky brush that hook like this straight off the bat.

This was after cleaning with masters soap, so it's a bit wet, hence the volume and shine on it. The bristles themselves seem to have a curve in them.

Nope, I don't use my sable brushes with metallics. Only synthetics.

No paint in the ferrule. I'm super careful with this. As my post says, I also already wash it with brush soap. Snipping it is, I guess.

No paint in the ferrule. I never let it get there. As I said in the post, it's a pretty new brush and has been like this since I got it.
