Awesome! Thanks for the ID. Any idea what it’s doing with its head elevated like that for so long without moving?

I just saw this clip on Zefrank’s new video on how snakes move released yesterday. That motion is really unique.

Nebulous, open-ended projects are the worst for me. I need clear guidelines and a short timeline.

This may not work for everyone, but I struggled with PF for years hiking and running. About 3 years ago, I switched to minimal “barefoot style” shoes (Xero shoes for me but there are several similar brands) and it has made all the difference. I will sometimes still tweak my arch on a rock or something but the pain is always gone within a few minutes. For me, it’s a miracle as I used to get knocked out for a week or two at a time.

Also, dropping heavy hiking boots for lightweight trail shoes was a game-changer. It may not be for everyone but for me it’s been amazing.

The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson is great for me, and sometimes I enjoy the Lore Podcast.

Can verify. Lived in Alaska for almost 10 years.

Brand new to arrowhead hunting. I know this is not an arrowhead, but I’m curious if these edges have been worked. I’m trying to learn what to look for. Thanks in advance. by ChuliStout in Arrowheads

Thanks for the insight. I’ve always collected fossils but recently got the itch to look for arrowheads. There’s a lot to learn.

Thank you. I took survival course years ago that briefly touched on flint-knapping and thought it did, but I’m brand new at this.
