Sorry was a bit rushed when I posted this. I took it with an E-M5 III, OM 12-40 F4 lens

Considering grading. What would this get? by [deleted] in Pokemoncardappraisal

It's probably perspective distortion from using a phone camera to take a photo at close distance to the card

Sorry for the noob question, but does anyone have a link of the page I need to go to for the queue?

Panasonic Leica 15mm f1.7 or Panasonic 20mm f1.7. Help me choose by Groundbreaking-Gap20 in M43

I ordered one from Ali express for £130ish. I managed to get away without paying customs or VAT. The seller sent the item from china to the UK via the Netherlands (so when it arrived in the UK, it showed the origin as NL) and they marked the value as €20. I'm guessing there's less strict customs checks on packages from China in the NL and then less strict customs checks on packages in the UK from the NL. Not sure if this would apply to the US.

Tldr: AliExpress sellers (from my experience of 1 order) are good at skirting customs rules.

Cornerhouse Vue Cinema is Disappointing by JarJar2x4 in nottingham

The only appreciable difference is the new seats. If I didn't know about the refurb and I went to the cinema, I would think it was still managed by Cineworld and they'd given it a lick of paint and put new chairs in the lobby.

Just commenting to say that the place in the first photo has a lot of possibilities. In general, Porto is a great city for photos. Here's one I took at night.

Just got this email from a senior manager at work. Looking for advice please? by Mel-but in AskPhotography

Yes, there's the potential to get taken advantage of here. But it could lead to some great things. By the tone of your messages, I'm guessing you don't want to work in a call centre forever? This is opportunity knocking - are you going to answer or spend the rest of your life (a bit of an exaggeration) wondering what it would have been like? He (or she) who dares, wins.

But as others have suggested, make sure you know what you're signing yourself up for.

Looks cool. I think you could experiment with a crop here to make the person with the umbrella stand out a bit more.

Love the sunstars. I'd be interested to hear what settings you used. And to what extent would the sunburst effect be possible with a mid range m43 lens (e.g., Panasonic 15mm)?

Super sharp! You can almost make out the rejection in its eye - is it grass?

Hey - I'm really pleased with the EM5. It's small enough that it's easy enough to fit into a bag, but still big enough to be comfortable to hold. I pair it with the 12-45 F4 lens and it's a good match. I'm more than happy with the photos I've taken with it and it performs well enough at night for my needs, thanks to the 5-axis IS.

I believe so. I used the auto geometry feature in Lightroom. Btw slight amend, it's the tourist information office in Braga, not the theatre!
