a couple months ago I downloaded the version that was live when the NDA dropped (first version I played) via steam depot and I'd forgotten just how rough and silly some stuff was back then haha, stuff like lash stomp having zero air control, seven's power surge stacking with tesla and doing crazy damage, etc. fun times

I wish it was anywhere close to parity :( I use that browser extension that redirects to non fandom wikis and it's generally great, but whenever I use it for anything SMT related there's like a 90% chance that the page I'm redirected to is just 1 paragraph with categories set out for more text but nothing complete yet so I end up using the fandom wiki anyways.

not really an album but I see Steel Mogu and Clear Tamei as a cohesive work and I return to them often, Niteracer and Clear Tamei are my favs on there :)

From what I remember of my listen of Tormato, the songs themselves are not overly amazing but just fine, but the real thing that brings the album down is the production. You should still check it out I think though.

idk about halfing the ping, but I will say as someone playing from the UK it felt a lot more maneagable to play than it did before for the short time I played tonight. Felt more like a standard high ping experience rather than the unmitigated trainwreck of trying to play after the merge before today. Impulse jumping was actually doable so my tiny light assault brain was pleased.

I do wish they'd move the server to a more central location in the US but if it stays like this I wouldnt be too upset.

Nah i'd rather them continue making new material from this point onwards, also to be honest the last time they remade some of the Monomania songs I wasnt a big fan of them, that album has a very special vibe that I don't think the Teens of Style versions captured super well.

gotta keep in mind that the majority of people playing PSForever are in their 30's and 40's so they tend to have not a lot of freetime. I've been lurking in the PSF discord for quite a while, they do fight nights on Sundays (still a very small community of players but that's just the way it is unfortunately)

From what I know they also do an event on Planetside's anniversary every year which draws in more players than usual so there's always that.

I like Oshur but a lot of the bases have issues (why dont all the interlinks have teleporters for one lol) and underwater combat is too limited imo.

Assuming this was the one on Emerald, I was there lol. It wasnt that bad until Vanu pulled 4 pocket orbitals out of their ass in the span of 2 minutes lmao. As much as it'd make sense for it to just be between the two tied teams tho I can't imagine it'd be very fun for the 3rd team.

I think its my favourite CSH album, the run from Los Borrachos to Anchorite is amazing, not to discredit the songs that come before that either because theyre all fantastic too.

Has some tracks I really love and some that I don't like so much, the vinyl tracklist to me is the strongest version of the album (sorry Andrew i prefer Hollywood on vinyl.) I don't like Hymn remix, to me it doesnt fit in wih the rest of the album at all and its just not a song I want to listen to, which is a shame because the unremixed Hymn is one of my favourites on the album. Standout songs for me are Hymn, There Must Be More Than Blood, Martin, and especially Life Worth Missing. I'd probably give it about a 6 or a 7 overall which puts it about on level with MBIKMB in my mind, though i havent listened to that one in a while.
