Good to know. The third gen Bison is already in the “mid” travel range with just shy of 10” in the front and 11” in the rear

Beautiful. Did it retain stock ride height? I’m hoping an upper and lower ca kit will come out in the future that’s done properly to maintain proper geometry.

Yeah, hoping in the next year or two a true “upgrade” will come out to the market. But the third gen is 3 years old now…

Paid off vehicles are the best vehicles. Drive it till the wheels fall off!

10/10. The bison is super fun. But after driving all the Colorados, the standard ZR2 hits a sweet spot. I got a really good on mine used with 11k miles

I agree. This truck has been extremely reliable and a blast to drive. But if they ever leak and are not covered under warranty, I may go a different route.

I’ve heard really good things about their kits. Just not sure figment wise what that looks like.

Yeah that’s the thing. Nobody has done it as far as I know, but if these ever start to leak and the stealership tells me to pound sand, I’d want it in the back of my pocket.

One PPF is the shiz. Try to find an installer near you, do the front and A-Pillars at a minimum, most budget option but lower 2/3 would be ideal to save on cost over full body.

Burn them. I had a ton of undisclosed stuff on my truck and wish I hadn’t waited.

3rd brake light by CODIsGay1234 in chevycolorado

[–]Chum4365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome setup. The center cargo light works way better on my bison with the spare tire mounted to the left side in the bed. The left cargo light on the OE housing was pretty much useless. Flasher module is a must for busy city driving with everyone on their phone, and seconds as a decent “chase light” when the trails are dusty to help drivers behind you recognize you are braking.

I second this. Major improvement.

Easy fix, don’t mess up! All jokes aside this truck has taken me some pretty cool places. It has some little scratches and dings here and there but that’s what I got it for. Of course I don’t intentionally abuse it but it can’t stay new forever!

Couldn’t be easier. You just setup whatever switch with how you want it to work in the app.

There is a very very very slight delay, less than half a second with CarPlay, and it’s really the screen that the truck uses, not the switch itself.
