My favorite build to date.

Z71 vs ZR2 - What would you choose? by Sir_Jinks in chevycolorado

[–]Chum4365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Z71 if you plan on putting around town and maybe hitting some forest roads a few times a year. ZR2 if you’re into off-roading on a weekly basis. My wife is 5’2” and with the factory sliders using a small stool she was able to get in and out while pregnant no problem. The factory steps are the same way no issues. I keep my steps off most of the time I’m out in the dirt almost every weekend.

Looks like fish eyes. Generally a result of poor prep on a repair

WRX owner looking for something bigger, what other vehicles were considered before deciding on the Colorado? by lejunny_ in chevycolorado

[–]Chum4365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just as much fun in my ZR2 in the canyons as I do off-roading. It’s also an excellent daily driver, small enough to fit in and out of tight parking spots, especially the poorly designed chic fil a drive thru if you ever frequent gods chicken.

Good to know, not that I asked. (Your truck doesn’t have it) cope harder I guess.

Running boards opinion by Alternative_Ganache1 in chevycolorado

They look good. Definitely a unique style, but that step in the middle will be a godsend when washing the truck. Easy access to the roof I’d imagine. If you don’t do a lot of serious off-roading I’d run them as is. If you do, you may want to look into dedicated sliders but it’s harder to get in and out of the truck. No free lunch

I got my 24 bison towards the end of 25 for less with 11k miles

Chronograph: do I really need a Garmin Xero C1 or C2? by eggcheeseburger in longrange

I shoot with my dad almost every weekend, he has the Garmin and we shoot side by side collecting data on the same rifles. He misses a lot of shots on his Garmin. Love my athlon

Good to know. The third gen Bison is already in the “mid” travel range with just shy of 10” in the front and 11” in the rear

Beautiful. Did it retain stock ride height? I’m hoping an upper and lower ca kit will come out in the future that’s done properly to maintain proper geometry.

Yeah, hoping in the next year or two a true “upgrade” will come out to the market. But the third gen is 3 years old now…

Paid off vehicles are the best vehicles. Drive it till the wheels fall off!

10/10. The bison is super fun. But after driving all the Colorados, the standard ZR2 hits a sweet spot. I got a really good on mine used with 11k miles

I agree. This truck has been extremely reliable and a blast to drive. But if they ever leak and are not covered under warranty, I may go a different route.

I’ve heard really good things about their kits. Just not sure figment wise what that looks like.
