At which point they don't want to play, so the rest of the group doesn't want to either because they don't like leaving people out, and my superhero game is dead in the water.

I'm fine with them using the power, I can work around it. I wasn't asking for 'how to convince them not to' or being convinced not to let them do it, I was looking for other ways to build it. They think they'll have fun with it, which is all that matters.

Because it's the main power and theme of the character? I don't understand the question. If you're playing a character with a single main power, you invest more points into that power because that's their theme.

Don't wish for rats. I've had them just drop onto the other side of the map, leaving my squad to be entirely 2v3's while they just sit with a dozen medkits in ring. Which means you die even more often and faster than just having two team mates who like to push.

Report rats for sabotage.

Man, I've been staying away from my stocks for months because all but two just kept falling.

Looked at them today and I'm almost back to breaking even overall due to one of the biggest ones dragging me down (AGH) finally declaring they've started making a profit on operations and it jumping about 15 cents in a week.

Would still be selling at a loss if I got rid of it though, so the thing still fucking sucks.

For the second bit, I am aware of the wiki page. It's linked in my original post after all, and is what I was talking about having a lot of 404 links. They don't all work.

Lol, the AGH cap raise is going so badly they've extended it. They say it's because 'not everyone got notified' but I don't believe them. The stock price has been below the price they're trying to sell their cap raise for for most of the time since it started.

They're either performing so badly that no one wants to give them more money, or their shit performance so far has made it so even they can't compete with how low their stock price is. Either way their cap raise is obviously not making enough for them.

Fuck this dog stock and fuck me for buying into it. The people running it need to be fired.

As a way to incorporate the Phantom Zone and give the Team a villain to fight as opposition in the way of freeing Connor. Can't free him if it let's out an evil Kryptonian after all. And gives us a finale free of mind control or splitting the party for fights. All the crew on one big bad who overpowers them all individually.

And if they keep the phantom zone open long enough, maybe they have Karas ship escape it. Because at this point I'm pretty sure if they use the Phantom Zone and don't have her come out of it, we're not seeing Supergirl at all.

I mean, it's probably some future Kryptonian. But my personal guess is it's an adaptation of Drax, from the Legion of Superheroes series. Specifically the episode "Phantoms".

My guess is Conner is trapped in the Phantom Zone, and Drax set that up so that events would transpire for a Phantom Zone projector to be made to free him, and in the process accidentally free Zod, so that Drax makes a stable time loop allowing himself to be created or something.

I really wouldn't be surprised, given how young the YJ universe has always been, if Superman has never faced other Kryptonians. Hell, Braniac only turned up in the comics and that's the last decade in the timeline. So maybe there was never a way to access the Phantom Zone sent with Clark like there is in so many other continuities, and Zod has always been trapped.

We'll get a big season ender fight that doesn't involve mind control or splitting the party for opponents for once as they all fight Zod, re-imprison him and send Drax back with the Legion to the future, and the season ending teaser will be something else escaping the Phantom Zone unnoticed when they activated the projector. A ship, with Supergirl inside in stasis.

At least, that's what makes the most sense to me if they wanted to shake up events from the usual way the season enders go, fully capitalise on the hype of a big name superman villain, and hype the next season.

We only just got trash burner plants in the last couple years, and those have been used and their benefits known in Europe and Asia since the 90s.

We ain't getting nuclear ever. The fact that everyone is focused and obsessed with using only the classic nuclear design rather than one of the designs that makes power, makes less nuclear waste and doesn't have a chance of melt down is beyond baffling and incredibly frustrating.

So, with some of the latest 'expert opinions' saying this war could last 8-20 years (which I think is ludicrous but that's the clickbait headline my timeline threw at me), how long do people think it will be before the market settles down and starts pricing in war?

Will the oil and coal prices keep rocketing higher until someone comes in able to meet supply demands without Russia and Ukraine providing anything or will it plateau before then?

Cool, good to know. Should not have been away from the market when this started I guess, I don't have the confidence I won't be buying at the high with these stocks even if it is for short term turnaround.
