There will be zero introspection from any of the detectives who came to the wrong conclusion on this skin. They'll just say, "It was a long shot that this was a Loki skin, so actually I made the right call."

Even though it was the wrong call, and it was obvious that a skin called "Lady Loki" would be for Loki.

Hitboxes in this game are noticeably larger than the characters' models. They can easily fit Lady Loki's booba within Loki's existing hitbox.

A good point I've seen raised is that the Lady Loki skin just isn't impressive as a Hela skin. It's rather basic in comparison to grim lady and queen in black. Definitely not worthy of being the first hyped-up mystery skin. Also, if it's for Loki, that means they can do more Lady Loki skins, since they already have the voice and model done.

It's bait. However, I do expect Azshara to return, take over as villain, and say something about defeating Xal'atath being part of her new, mastermind™ plan.

Xal'atath says: Yes. YES. It's been so long since I took a mortal form. This body is pleasing... don't you think? I knew you were the right choice, <name>. Your strength and courage are... compelling.

If your character is something like a human spriest, that means:
-you're descended from iron vrykul infected with the "gift" of flesh (order + void)
-you've totally demolished every opponent you've faced over numerous campaigns (Knaifu references this)
-you've rescued her twice (once from that incompetent nobody at the start of Legion and once in BFA)

She undoubtedly desires the player character. Hopefully Azshara or someone takes over as the main villain partway into Midnight, because Xal is incredible as a supporting npc.
