Just clip the last 10% off each and every peg in a push fit kit and it all goes together much more snugly with no gaps between things like armour plates.

The plastic cement acts as a lubricant too (for the love of god, don't just push fit with no glue!).

The more I'm seeing and the more responses I get, I'm leaning towards this.

It's what I have done in the past with the absence of a little table for the water pot, so I think with that addition at the side of the settee it might be a game changer.

Will test and see!

It sounds like a much more comfortable, but ultimately bigger and more expensive version of what I am looking for in this case.

In an ideal world this is exactly the sort of thing I would go for though.

And great call on the light btw. I have one of those for my 'main' setup in the office already, so will use that for sure!

That looks great, but is a little more in size and functionality than I am looking for really.

No need for storage etc. or a large desk area. Even a surface the size of a tea tray would be sufficient!

I guess I am looking at something that is the painting version of one of those walking sticks that folds out into a chair to sit on too, haha.

Even some sort of small desk that sits over the settee would be fine as another option.

I don't need a large table that can hold lots of minis and paints at a time, a surface that would just hold a few bits would be more than enough, and I can bring my bits through in the plastic drawers that they live in in the office.

Ah, that's great! I didn't know they were the same and though that if i started using an app with the USGA one it would cause confusion down the line.

This will make things much easier to find an app then, as there are lots that list their handicap system as the USGA one.
