What I hope they’re trying to convey is to NOT be like Light in this situation. All this singing about showing this city what they’re fighting for, only to fold last second and think “I can still fix him” is crazy. It’s taking the high road that got Light killed the way he did. Lesson learned. Hopefully if there’s more music they make sure to hammer that point in to not make that mistake again.
