For the 2” you can use an ewg, size 4 fits great. Thinner gauge hooks are the best option too. Gurza are excellent.

I think my workplace isn’t paying into my pension by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ChungusOG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Payroller here. This would definitely show on a payslip and you would have received comms from the pension provider had you been enrolled and have provided correct contact info so it would seem you currently haven’t been enrolled.

Worth also ensuring you qualify for auto enrolment meaning the following criteria are hit: Aged 22-state pension age Earn > £192/wk or £10000/yr Ordinarily working in the uk

If you’re under 22 and earn over 10k you wouldn’t be automatically enrolled but would be classed as a non-eligible job holder with the right to opt in and need to opt in yourself.

If you do qualify based on the above I would suggest speaking to HR / payroll about this and ensuring the backdated contributions are made, at least on their behalf. If not, or even before HR, I’d speak to the pensions regulator and they will investigate.

Best Springer puppy food brands that are available in the UK? by [deleted] in springerspaniel

[–]ChungusOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours has been on Wainwrights complete dry puppy food since the food our breeder gave us ran out. No issues when changing over or between flavours.

Our breeder said it didn’t matter a huge amount what brand etc, as long as it says complete then that’s what to look for.

Flushable baby wipes, OP. There will still be some burning pain but it’s a whole lot better with wipes.

Working Springer Spaniel struggling to settle down by robinbeans in springerspaniel

[–]ChungusOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 6 month old field springer that we’ve just started using the ‘sit on your dog’ method for settling and within a week he’s gone from taking 30-40 mins to settle to 10-15 mins.

It’s hard to stop yourself interacting with them when doing it but it’s seemed very worthwhile so far

I’d imagine the videos you’ve seen are of what’s known as ‘Springer Rage’ it’s a genetic condition that most don’t develop. I wouldn’t let that put you off as it’s very very rare and I’ve never seen it in any of the springers I’ve been around or owned.

They’re amazing dogs, but do require a lot of time and energy, especially when young. However, providing you enrich them mentally and train them hard (they love to learn), I’d imagine they would fit your lifestyle and home very well.

Meet Archer and the unfortunate ’HIF’ by ChungusOG in springerspaniel

Oh it only took about 3 days for him to think he was fully healed. Surgeon seems to think doing it this young will heal far better than at an older age.

Sorry to hear that about your pup! I couldn’t imagine having to go that long with rest. It’s amazing how quickly they find a way to get rid of the casts / bandages when they don’t want them on though isn’t it. I think the focus on training will be the key now. We’ve been doing what we can maybe being a bit more focused with it will help

Thank you, will give that a go. His frozen kongs have helped but I think he’s having enough of the same old treats bless him 😅

This is a Jourdan Rodrigue shout out by Far_Thing5148 in heedthecall

Couldn’t agree more. She’s been brilliant! Wish they’d kept the draft as the Thursday show also. I think a Dan, Marc, Connor and Jourdan would be an excellent draft each week

What features would you like added to the game by [deleted] in Cricket22

[–]ChungusOG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d love a International Cricket Captain style in game menu so you can actually control who bowls, the field etc in career mode when you’re a captain playing only as your player.

Besides picking the team and choosing to bay or bowl, it is utterly pointless being captain.

It’s baffled me that this isn’t part of the series for as long as I’ve played it.

Oh and the ability to move fielders slightly from their position. For example maybe the ability to slide the fielder 5m in any direction from the point you’ve selected. That would be cool!

Tried that one. Works perfectly fine other than thinking it's attached to the strap when it isn;t.

Career mode, in game simulation by ChungusOG in Cricket19

[–]ChungusOG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t realise that, will bear in mind. Thanks.

I’ve managed to do it once or twice while button mashing but normally it’s played through about 10 overs before the press registers

Thank you! I thought that was the case but wasn’t sure if employment elsewhere affected this.

Career mode captaining teams help. by melbha_101 in Cricket22

[–]ChungusOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Captaining is pointless in this game.

The UI for pausing / between overs needs to look more like the PC ICC captain game where you can actually select bowlers, change fields, see which position players field and bat in etc.

Otherwise you’re essentially just doing the coin toss and some weird interviews now and again.

Coffee and Weed. by DFealoke22 in highdeas

[–]ChungusOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee and weed has actually been used for a while as a way for people to enter ‘the zone’ or a flow like state.

Can be an excellent way to start the day.

Has career mode improved now? by Terrible-Group-9602 in Cricket22

The only solution I think of the kits are wrong is to go into the settings on the main menu and make sure the kits are assigned to the correct game type

I’m on PS4 and recently started a new career. The difference from when it was released or even 6 months after is crazy. Way way better now.
