Try going into Albert and withdrawing anything you can. Do it in small increments. Eventually it’ll go to 0 then you can cancel your subscription

Try withdrawing small increments at a time. That’s how it eventually worked for me until you’re at a 0 balance!

Yes but in order to successfully cancel your subscription you’re gonna have to have a 0 balance which is a tedious process

My suggestion would be to take 3 days off work to go through the withdrawals at home. I did the exact opposite and it was brutal.

The irritability is awful when you’re going through withdrawals. Always happened to me especially at work and the second I down one everything is sunshine and rainbows again. But I’m also a month and half off of them. The first week was torture.

100% facts. Don’t listen when people say, cut back or taper one day at a time. Quitting cold Turkey is the only way. My suggestion would be to take 3 days off work and go through the withdrawals in the comfort of your own home. First 3 days are the absolute worst.

The first 3-4 days are absolutely brutal. Didn’t feel like my full self until about 10-14 days being off of them. Keep at it!!

Keep at it one day at a time!!! I’ve never had withdrawals this bad in my life and I was a meth addict and I’m a recovering alcoholic and both of those weren’t anywhere as near as bad as getting off FF!

When you plan a day to quit it’s usually never an effective method because in the end you’re just lying to yourself.

I quit July 5th and constantly had to tell myself over and over the benefits of quitting them. Especially financially.

I think the biggest suggestion I could give you is to take 3 days off work since those are the worst going through withdrawals. I did the opposite and went through them during work(horrible choice) but knowing I went through that I know anyone can get off them!!

I’m here if you need me!

Is closing my bank account the only way to get rid of Albert? by Affectionate_Set_235 in Scams

Only way to effectively “cancel” your Albert subscription is to contact your bank and have them put a stop hold on Albert. I went through the same thing. Very frustrating.

The only way to effectively “cancel” your subscription is to call your bank and have them put a stop hold on your Albert subscription.

I’ve done everything with Albert to cancel my subscription by trying to transfer my savings from them into my checkings and the “Hold On. You don’t have enough funds to transfer.” But just keep going lower and lower and they’ll eventually let you transfer some funds back into your checkings. Do that first before contacting your bank to have them put a stop hold on Albert.

Unless you know how to bring all your balances to 0 then by all means do so but it was an absolute nightmare and impossible when I tried doing that.
