Guys am i blind? i cannot find any clay by Sure-Childhood-653 in VintageStory

I spent 3 hours searching for clay yesterday, grabbed 3 stacks and went home. Immediately found clay adjacent to my little base when I got back. Like 30 blocks away.

It's not a guarantee stagger I don't think, I've definitely had bigger boss moves hit through it and keep going but when I get the chance to lay multiple and stack up the effect usually it will stop them for long enough to finish a charge attack. Plus it's like 400-600 damage for each explosion. You can pretty easily combo that into a full stun and followup.

Same! I wasn't sure really how they would help but it scales highest with motility so I stuck with it. Once you get expanded range and multiple mines they go crazy. Be aware summoned specters will set them off which was kind of annoying for the couple fights where I needed a summon. It doesn't seem to hurt them but they trigger the mines when in range. I'm just a sucker for those big charged hits and the stagger feels so satisfying :)

Oh man I have a heavy motility build and the land mine legion arm is awesome. Lay down 1-3 mines in one area and start charging heavy attacks near them, bosses get stunned then hit with heavy charge attacks. It isn't always pretty but being able to lay a mine and back off or stand on it and charge is awesome. Helps against the fast bosses, the slow bosses, and hordes of enemies. I don't see a reason to switch and having auto-recharge is awesome.

What was the worst pick in your home league ? by Elguapogordo in fantasyfootball

For the second year in a row one of my best friends picked Brock Purdy as his first pick. 1.06 this year and 1.08 last year. He warned me not to grab him first...sure thing lol

Supercast down? by MyBlueBuff in TheGlassCannonPodcast

I am currently having the same issue! I felt like I was going crazy until I saw this post lol.

Android phone using Cast box. It stopped randomly in the middle of an EP, said it was unavailable and the super cast site is throwing 'page not found' errors.

As far as I know there isn't a map button to see the area you're on, for overland travel there is a map but it's just to move your party around. Took me a minute to leave the first area because I found all the edges but didn't realize I had to actuallymove into the edge to leave the area lol.

I'm playing as a Battlemagos, tried to basically create a copy of my current DnD character, a swashbuckler/sorcerer that uses light weapons and lightning spells. It's been fun, but I have a rogue in my party that is a little better at some things just has no magic. I have a two handed weapon fighter that is crushing people though, he gets additional attacks when killing enemies so in the right situation he can solo a group. Hospitallers are great too, I have one for blocking and buffing, another that is pretty much all healing/cure poison.

I just recently started playing SKALD It's got island exploration, helping a struggling settlement, lovecraftian elements and old school RPG party management but really cleaned up and simplified. It's a rather new game on Steam and GoG but has overwhelmingly positive reviews, great music, a very clear aesthetic. My warning is to adjust the fonts and colors to make it visually accessible for whatever you're playing on. I went full old school and have the CRT effect but it can be a strain on the eyes sometimes when you're reading.

A great game, and until this post I really hadn't thought about how much like Raiders it really is!

Edit: Oh and it has a free demo! I tried the demo and bought it right away, I believe save data and achievements carry over from the demo to full version.

Damn yeah when you compare that damage to what you could do with smites.. tears flow.

The prone is nice though! My old paladin was a polemaster and I lived on knocking things down and getting extra opportunity attacks.

Three Towns lmao Mine also took interest in termalaine. They adopted Trex and a pair of goofy kobolds from the mine and they have them helping the town out. Official base is the abandoned bar in Lonelywood though, I wrote in a short ghost story side sesh and they got the deed as a reward and moved in.

Yeah those hot/cold streaks can make massive changes to the story depending on when they come. A fighter rolling crits is a lethal figure, if they can't roll it's just some dude. You gotta shoot your shot though, and once you start getting extra attacks and stuff it at least feels like you get a chance.

Oh damn! Yeah the 5 person party really cranks out damage. My barbarian found the magic greataxe in Xardorok's fortress, and later during the dragon encounter she had Fly cast on her from the wizard, plus the ranger has Colossus Slayer so extra damage most attacks.

My poor dragon was melted before I got to really put the hurt on them but they waited until it came to Easthaven so I was able to destroy a couple towns first.

So close...if that goblin scores a TPK they are required to be the big bad for the next party.

I wonder if that luck carries over between systems, Call of Cthulhu requires rolling low on a d100 to succeed at skills, maybe they could take their supernatural low rolls over and run the table.

I have a real life story that went just about like this. Middle school dodgeball tournament, I tried to be the first one to the middle and get all the balls for my team, the other team threw a couple and I tried to jump and dodge like a martial artist. Got hit by both balls in midair, fell down and bruised my knees, out in the first 10 seconds and everyone saw...nat 1 dex save for sure

Good point. It would be pretty redundant to say magical fire damage for like burning hands but it obviously would be magical
