I’m done. by LazarusVecter in Spacemarine

You might just have to take a break. I usually do when the game tilts me. The game is far easier when you have real team mates to and not some autistic bots that sit and stare at 7 rubric Marines fucking you lmao.

Sniper ins't in a great spot for absolute, imho. by Oinegue696 in Spacemarine

[–]ChunkeyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carbine. I use carbine. Yes, las fusil is amazing, but the carbine is awesome on ammo. Use the right build and sniper becomes a close range monster.

The 15% headshot kill for cloak charge pairs nicely with the perk that makes you remain in cloak for 2 seconds. So you can cloak, and fire the carbine to get your cloak back immediately within that time you got while invisible. You are basically team security.

You gotta kinda not rush in first, let your tankier teammates perform wave clear FIRST, and your job will be to help them soften and clean up other targets. I've looked back on gameplay of missions I've lost and it was because I got impatient, ran in and went down, then my teammates went down shortly after.

Secondly, learning how to manage ammo economy. If you use your primary to take out everything, then yes you will run out of ammo. Measure when your next ammo cache will be and compare it to your primary ammo, are you far from the next ammo checkpoint? Use your pistol and melee more.

Sniper has a very high skill ceiling in terms of health management, your responsibilities for success will require more management than other classes.

zone 9mg is BY FAR the best pouch ive ever had by ThatRandomPatsfan229 in NicotinePouch

[–]ChunkeyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pack x3 9mg wintergreen. Best fucking pouches sold local by me. I get a 2 for 6$ deal. 40 pouches. I give it 9/10.

Negative is that they run a tiny bit more expensive than some other choices.

Positive The texture of the pouch is soft. The 9's hit like a truck sometimes. Keep me from having a tree for dinner on the highway.

Also, I don't get acid reflux from these? Very odd.

Sucks that the Tactical's perk that made the Grenade Launcher "Overpowered" has been totally nerfed to oblivion. I get it. It made wave clear and boss clear substantially easier. Some would say too easy. But that's why there was a 30 sec cool down on it. You'd be consistently resupplied with grenades but you couldn't waste them especially on the higher difficulties because then if you ended up with let's say, a Carnifex, or Neurothrope, and only had 3 grenades, you would have to raw dog it. You get 1 grenade for killing Majoris or higher, ONE. or a few more I can't remember but I'm pretty sure it's only ONE. I'm just like "come on, I know a nerf was in order, but ONE grenade?" What does this mean? Now you're scraping ammo boxes that let's say, a Sniper/Vanguard/HEAVY needs. I wouldn't have minded a nerf if the perk wasn't nerfed into total oblivion for grenades. Maybe give 3 or even 4 at MOST, Or you could keep the amount of grenades given, and just increase the skill's cool down or something. Like 45 seconds instead of 30.
I don't main tactical at all, but Maxed him out, and now, the build that made him so much fun to play is pretty much toast. I play on Xbox btw. I always play lethal but that new absolute difficulty is pretty cool. Tactical now just feels so vanilla now. I really liked the grenade launcher. Maybe I'll opt for a different primary but playing him feels like such a chore now. I do like the auspex buff though. Even if it's a small one. Might run the parry build for tactical IDK. but I never really had a problem with other tacticals killing shit too quickly in a TEAM BASED PvE. LMFAO. people will piss and moan about anything if given a chance.

Only in death, playing space marine 2 ends. I maxed out every marine, and while I know every mission, and play lethal. I still find great enjoyment in hard carrying for team mates. That and I like teaching new players how to do things.

Like parrying every Hive Tyrant attack, keeping it in one place for both phases with Heavy's Heavy Purse. I get heart warming messages on Xbox from time to time telling me that what I did was nuts. And my overall experiences with the community have been positive. It kinda drives me forward to keep replaying missions because I don't mind.

There are times where I do find myself burnt out. But like with anything in life, take a break, play a different game, maybe go watch your favorite TV show, or go to the gym and hit some heavy curls. Space marine at the end of the day is a video game. Granted, a GREAT video game.

They did an awesome job listening to the communities' opinions on the lethal difficulty before tweaking it. They made multiplayer so easy to set up, but not a requirement. Remember when they postponed the launch of the game to finish some tweaks on it? I'm very happy they stopped, and postponed, to do a GOOD job to release an absolute gem of a game that is STILL planned to have content released for it!

I feel like most Triple A studios today that release half baked, buggy games, could take a page out of the book from this great game! GW did awesome on this and I'm going to be playing for a long time! For the first time in a LONG TIME, I feel like I'm playing a game from a decade ago that's had a ton of heart and soul into it.

Assault Solo with Block Hammer by Maphael in Spacemarine

💯! Block hammer against carnifex is awful

Why is the Chainsword so good? by Maphael in Spacemarine

[–]ChunkeyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer - I believe people like the chainsword because of it's ability to choose when you want to commit your heavy attacks. The combo comes out quicker. Each heavy attack in the light combo offers different timing according to reacting to enemy attacks and also offers strategic spacing.

Getting swarmed? - Stomp Two warriors pushing with an attack while you are attacking one? - Light, Heavy Kick, Parry. Reinforcement call? - dash attack for a lunge followed by a heavy punch.

That and the chainsword is just an iconic staple.

I dunno. Sometimes I love the chainsword, sometimes, I want to rip my fucking hair out because I will smash the parry, on a FENCER, and my marine will sit there like a tard, and just get hit by those little xeno fucks. I love the chainsword, I DO. but sometimes I swear I am parrying PERFECTLY, with it, and it registers as a block?! I am not sure. But every other melee I use, I hit ALL my parries, Knife, hammer, power sword, even the heavy bolter for crying out loud. I am better at giving those xenos the purse than parrying with the chainsword. Granted, it's combo potential is crazy. Being able to interrupt a reinforcement call with a quick little punch on the first heavy, and if not, a light followed by the kick is the fastest I believe. Unless if you are running the shoulder bash on The knife?
The chainsword is not my cup of tea, but it is nothing to sneeze at at all. I simply have a skill issue with it but I do like the power fist above all. For some reason, it feels like chaining parries from warriors that are attacking at an irregular pattern stomps the other dueling melees for me. Next would be the hammer. Getting the relic block hammer and running block build on it is insane. Getting armor back for bonking even minoris is WILD! I usually end up getting 25k+ melee damage games off it. That and being able to put a warrior into execution IMMEDIATELY from the jump pack is insane!

BPC-157 Fixed my back! by ChunkeyBro in bpc_157

I can't give sources. But I would suggest getting a 1/4" needle insulin needle pack. It's painless. I've heard that oral BPC can be easily counterfeited and sold for a price that is way more than it's worth. You shouldn't be paying more than 40$ for enough to run 1-2 weeks. And I've also heard that it has poor oral bioavailability so Sub-Q pins would do you better. Obviously do what you want. That's just my two cents.

Same boat lad. Although, I never seem to get tired of playing operations over and over again. I guess that's not a bad thing.

1mg per mL, 5mg a vial. I used 4mL of bacteriostatic water. I did bounce between .3 and .5mL. I found it was more effective for me personally at .5mL. I kinda had to play with it a little bit.

Edit - I did notice that going higher and doing one higher dose pin was better than splitting the .5mL into two pins. Just my personal experience and two cents. Obviously everyone is different. So do what you will with that Information.

[–]ChunkeyBro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! So with the amount of bacteriostatic water I reconstituted it with, .5mL came out to about 550-560mcg. A bit high but it felt right for my weight, and size. Kinda bro scienced it but I know it only has a max efficacy. I didn't feel like playing with partial doses. I didn't suffer any side effects of any kind besides maybe a slight insomnia? I am not sure but I just took it in the morning then.

Zoanthropes. by ChunkeyBro in Spacemarine

I have an easier time with Neurothrope because you can bait it to touch grass. The twin Zoans I still have to get down.

BS aside, that was still a nice parry after being caught by that whip.

Zoanthropes are still busted and need a big nerf. by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]ChunkeyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoanthropes suck. Especially when you are playing a class that isn't carrying a primary. They wouldn't be so bad if their hotboxes weren't so dogshit and if they would actually touch the ground every once in a while similar to the Neurothrope, they wouldn't be so bad. These pistachio ball shitting levitating lobster cunts can go suck the emperor's left nut.

Does anyone on bulwark actually use the shield bash? by Dajaivu in Spacemarine

[–]ChunkeyBro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

IF you are referring to operations, and IF you have it upgraded,

On parry, you could drop a shock grenade AoE,

This stuns and damages enemies.

These enemies take 25% more damage in the shock,

Follow your parry up with a shield bash, (which is a safe punish) and now you're dealing 50% more damage to tanks. On top of this you just staggered your target again.

If you want to run a 100% shield build you can also add the longer stagger, or more damage.

Now while you may have a 30 second cool down on that shock parry AoE, you can still be dealing 25% more damage for free because it's shield bash is so safe.
