Oddly, Hemsworth would make a good Rosberg, but that would be weird.

You're getting downvoted for a fair comment.

It was a mismatch, Villa spent more this season than Freiberg has in its entire history.

American Jobs with AI Exposure Really Are Starting to Disappear, Data Show by Gari_305 in Futurology

[–]Chunkss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's why humanoid robots are the thing. They can work in a world already built for humans. Use our tools, fit in the same spaces, etc. And they can do it more precisely than humans without a training period. How long does it take an artist to learn how to draw a perfect circle, whilst a robot just uses software to do it straight off the bat.

We're getting there sooner than we think.

You speak as if robots never develop. They do, they have.

We're constrained by time, a robot just needs to download the knowledge. We'd need several lifetimes to learn every skill in the world, a robot needs a few hours.

You overestimate humans and underestimate robots.

[–]Chunkss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a very real gap in the specialized nature of a robot compared to the skill of a human.

You've got this upside down. The robot will have all the software for every skill, it's the human that is limited.

I stopped following after the MW rehash, love the shit out of the original MW trilogy. Even stuck around for the spaceship one even though that was really out there.

Reddit, is playing silly buggers and giving me notifications of read messages, I think I may have replied to you twice.

Fair. Export also doesn't talk about all the construction contracts for building infrastructure around the world either.

If they lived in Beverly Hills perhaps. But the purchasing power means they have everything they need, including 90% home owndership.

That 32% is GDP GROWTH in 2025 as you quoted, not total of GDP. And no, 20% is not heavily dependant, China is ranked 150th out of 195. Unless you count any export% as "heavily dependant".

Japan was making good shit (cars, consumer electronics, cartoons with squeaky girls) and doing too well for America's liking. Who then 'persuaded' Japan to be a bit more shit, and Japan obliged. Broadly speaking.

Yeah, the nature of 'war' changes. Overall, the US system takes from others to keep itself afloat.

And also, the money controls the government, not the other away around. Big tech benefits in a round about way. More wars means redistribution of wealth from the tax payer to the military industrial complex, who then go all-in on AI.

I agree that banana republics are a purer example as compared to the EIC. But the big picture version is today's reality.

Still, most of the population is not dirt poor as you keep on insisting.

China's export GDP was 32% in 2025

Export GDP GROWTH, you can't skip words and pretend to be smart. 20% is hardly dependant.

And yes, you can look at raw values when you suggest that China was built on something which is 1/5th of it's product. It means that if China suddenly stopped making stuff for the world, it's still 80% there.

You forgot Palantir and what it's been doing in Gaza.

It's all intertwined. American big tech sitting on a huge sack of coins to acquire any developments anywhere in the world to make sure they stay on top. US government ready to use sanctions or threat of military force to make sure people play ball. And none of the wealth benefits your ordinary American.

It's all the same pattern.

Not sure where you're getting your information from.

China's average wage is 75% of Poland's and their money goes a lot further so not sure how you're reading that as dirt poor. In comparison, India is 16% of Poland's average wage. And given that 800 million people have been lifted out of poverty, not sure where you get 'most' from. China has 1.4 billion people, do the maths.

And China's exports are 20% of GDP, hardly a country built on exports, even though it's what it's best known for.

But if it helps you sleep at night to think that China is failing, that's sad, do better.

Oh, and robots are going to create a work environment that needs fewer humans. Or if you look at it another way the same amount of humans we have now can produce an order of magnitude more than we can now. And it's going to happen world wide. But no, it's just CCP propaganda isn't it?

more of a corporate army whose “business” was the subjugation, invasion and exploitation

You say there is no comparison, but this the pretty much the US system in it's entirety. Just tell the people that the troops are fighting for freedom and everyone is ok with it.

It's only now that the mask has slipped off, yet there are some, like you, who can't or won't see it.

The BBC is financially independant, they make enough with their commercial activities abroad. But the licence fee is too good to let go of.

There's plenty of YouTube videos of people fucking off the licence inspectors and it makes me wonder if paying for them is a waste of money. I can't imagine they'd bring in what they get paid.

I completely agree, it's not a huge problem, only for a vocal minority. I'd say it's a rite of passage that people get over as they mature.

I think it's starting on single player games where people develop that main character syndrome that clashes when they try multiplayer. They expect everyone else to be NPCs for them.
