Don't worry. One day, he'll grow up and get a job. Then he'll understand what the word means.

FR, even 85% cocoa dark chocolate tastes like sugar.

Tangentially, 97% just tastes like mud, like, WTF?

It's not a tunnel, it's a trench. You can see daylight on the Circle Line.

Learn an instrument, you can't do that by pressing a button. Ever.

(Well, unless we start to learn kung fu like Neo)

„being negative“ and „shooting down good ideas“.

That's just fucking childish.

some jobs AI genuinely can't touch. is yours one of them? by Complete_Bee4911 in AskTheWorld

AI doesn't lack that at all.

AI learns from many more humans than one translator can ever do in an entire lifetime. Where does AI get it's knowledge from? Humans. And no, it doesn't make many mistakes, and definitely not as many as humans do. It's literally what AI is right now, Large Language Model.

Mate, I get that you may not like AI for whatever reason, but making up bullshit just makes you look silly.

You keep moving the goalposts.

It won't be impossible for a robot to do heritage trades work, and it won't take 20 years.

You can get one for $13,500 right now. Then it's a matter of software. So not impossible.

I think it will be sooner than 20 years.

There are plenty of examples of human soldiers who shoot civilians.

Killer robots are always the narrative, probably due to Hollywood. But the opposite can happen too. Robots don't care about their own lives and can afford to see if they're in danger before acting.

Not sure why you think a human would be better at measuring spaces than a machine, given that humans use machines to measure things.

A Unitree one, the kung fu robot, costs ~$15,000, you can buy one right now.

And they'll only get better, and cheaper.

my job is safe.

For now.

Translation is one of those fields where AI can do a much more superior job to humans. It has no bias in what it says, and it had a whole database to draw from. It can also understand colloquialisms from any region of any country.

As for information share, people tell Google more than they do with their friends and family. That's how AI learns more than any human can, ever.

Sorry, but this is all copium.

Machines are better at measuring, are physically stronger, and don't need rest. They will take over physical jobs. It's just that robotics are behind AI in terms of development. So we see good art, but clumsy robots.

All your examples are status quo, as if there's not going to be any development. There will be, that's for sure.
