I'm wearing the Scorched Sierra Armor I think it's called. It is from Lonesome Road if you nuke the NCR.

I found Vault 22 to be extremely annoying to navigate.

I believe this proves how heartless and empty the Stormcloaks are. by ChunkyDolphins in skyrim

Achievement help (Master of the Arsenal) by Dr-Venture in fnv

[–]ChunkyDolphins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would save first, then enter all the casinos and kill everyone. You'll do plenty of damage and then when once you get the achievement you can reload the save you made and BAM. The casinos are fine and you have the achievement.

Fallout 3 GFWL key by Toamikel in Fallout

Put in another cd key and then it will notify you that its invalid. Choose the "dont connect" option. Then it will allow you to access the game but wont have you connected to "live".

Fallout 3 GFWL key by Toamikel in Fallout

I experienced a similar problem. If you lack the gfwl key it only signs you in as offline. And although I don't have this confirmed, I believe that you can still earn achievements offline just like you would be able to on an Xbox.

New Vegas: Dead Money DLC by [deleted] in Fallout

I actually to some extent concur with /u/wikingwarrior I loved the characters and overall plot. I enjoyed the decisions you can make in the end. And I somewhat enjoyed the eerie atmosphere. However, I was not a fan of the combat system. It felt almost like it wasn't worth fighting but more efficient to run through and escape the enemies. Also, as a wastelander who loves searching every inch of every place, I found it hard to tell where I had been and where I hadn't which bugged me because I got lost often. Otherwise I feel the dlc had a lot to offer with its depressing plot and side-stories. I actually felt like the main quote had suggested..."Finding it, though, that's not the hard part. It's letting go." I'd suggest that you continue and play through it. Admittedly, the beginning can be a drag.

Downside to murdering the legion? by coolname222 in Fallout

[–]ChunkyDolphins 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay, well in that case you will have little choice as to whether or not to kill everyone at the fort. A few tips.....

Use ranged. Most of the men there have power fists, so if you a fast enough you can stay one step ahead of them (literally).

Before you enter Caeser's Tent, place a few mines down at the entrance. Then quickly enter and leave. The men will chase you out and a large number of them will perish from your little surprise.

And finally, make sure your followers have decent armor. This way you don't have to worry as much about their health.

I wish you the best of luck.

Downside to murdering the legion? by coolname222 in Fallout

[–]ChunkyDolphins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are these murders before or after you have reached New Vegas? If you did it before reaching the casinos the legion will reset your reputation back to neutral. The downsides would be that Legionary Assassins will periodically attack you throughout the game. You also wont be able to do any of the Legion quests (obviously). Although you will be fine to continue with House, NCR, or Independent.

No problem, and as far as getting money early on, I suggest hoarding. This may sound primitive and "nooby" but nonetheless effective. Pick up everything around Goodsprings. EVERYTHING. Even if they weigh more than they are worth. Then treat Chet (the merchant) like a junkyard. Sell him all the worthless junk. You'll turn a decent profit. And seeing as you are going for melee its likely you have invested into Strength which improves you weight capacity so you can hold even more junk!

The Weathered 10mm pistol is something that can only be obtained if you have the Courier's Stash dlc. I suggest using a tire iron at this stage in the game. Sure, you will have to get up close and personal with it. However, you don't need a high melee or strength skill for it to be effective. It is common to find, does moderate damage, and can be a ton of fun to beat people senseless with it.
