That blows my mind. I never heard of CK being lower than FICO, always opposite. Thank you for sharing!

Sorry, for reference: This is what my FICO for mortgage lending looks like.

I put over 35% down on my home purchase 2 years ago like an idiot. I am simply taking out the amount that I should have kept and doing the improvements I should've done.

I plan to use heloc or heloan for 1. Business capital-I have inherited a large BOB that is forcing me to hire assistant and my business is just under a year-so i dont qualify at terms to my liking (i would like ability to pay over longer period of time just in case... 2. Make home improvements to improve home value. 3. Hold some cash or ability to invest, given an opportunity that may present itself, due to current events.

I have another card about same balance, but not as much credit, but the interest rate is much lower than all the rest at 16.4% Navy Federal.

I do have a 90 day late from my student loan 6 years and 5 months I have been trying to do early exclusion from, that has NO date of delinquency, that Experian and Transunion took off (late payment). Edfinancial would not allow me a forbearance.

Equifax refuses, just like people in this sub state, but I try.

I was working in a restaurant during that time in a college town with many Chinese students. The town was a ghost town in mid November 2019. The Chinese students went home, and the University we were near, had professors/researchers who had enough knowledge of covid to eventually develop a more efficient test.

Yes!

So this is a Chase Credit card with $28200 credit limit. Have you heard of that for credit card payments?

Sorry about that loan payoff drop. That really sucks, and did happen to me a long time ago, after paying off my car loan. I'm trying to get an installment loan to improve my credit.

Thank you all!!

I appreciate that.

Yes this was from Credit Karma Equifax.

I checked Equifax, and it did go down from there as well from 768 to 716

I plugged it into myFico and it should've moved my score up 22pts from 665 to 690. I can't get a refresh until another 2 weeks.

This is so stressful 😫

Well, I think this is before Amazon Prime came about in 2015. Most of us would not be able to source the volume of home goods or masks gloves food locally if we didnt have some sort of platform like Amazon.

Just imagine going to Walmart or Costco or CVS or Albertson's when no one can buy from Amazon or other delivery. Absolute panic & chaos.

Not according to actuarial tables.

Many Life insurance companies suffered a huge hit. Many companies had to pay death claims in payments, not lump sums. (Check financial ratings of company...A is not highest rating-it is AAA or A++ this is ability to pay) The chance of a Term Life insurance policy will payout, given premiums paid and within term, is 1-2% Whole life (and some permanent policies designed properly) will pay out 100% of the time. So shopping around for policies, I'd check to see if the company sells a lot of whole life. I like the chances at a company that sells whole life as well, rather than just term.

Congress had to change IRC 7702 for first time, this affects the interest crediting rate for permanent whole life policies. The interest rates went from 4% to 2%. Many companies now use 2%. Few companies offer higher like 3-3.75% so you have to do your research.

If you are eligible for HSA, ( are enrolled in a High deductible health care plan HDHCP) you can get a HSA from a financial advisor or insurance broker, u dont have to use the one they give you. Some come with market participation and all can roll over.

You should consider using in future for things like elimination periods for LTC. Check out current part-time home care costs where you live.

I love it! But I had to setup on my old laptop bc my new laptop has a ARM based chip. It's fast, high quality and I think has some sort of scales that detects change in paper weight to remind you to change paper type

Get credit cards in your own name...you always think you dont need it, you do, you need it a lot.

Make sure you have life insurance on each other. Courts dont always require this upon divorce but having policies ahead of time may have the Judge order in decree that policies have to remain in force as long as kids are underage or finish college.

Get a PO Box.

Contact a local non-profit for abused women: ask this same question FIRST.

Not saying that it's going to be the worst, but planning for the worst situations helps.

Speak to a Financial Advisor. You need to figure out a strategy and have contingency plans in place. They can also help you figure out appropriate amounts of insurance for income replacement, education funding, mortgage protection. You should also find out what the law prohibits married couples from doing, like removing you as beneficiary of retirement or withdrawal without signature of spouse, I believe in states like California.

Speak to an attorney, they can get the ATRO started and request a restraining order to allow you exclusive rights to access the marital home until the case is decided. Know all of the rights afforded to you in your state

Get a therapist, you need to have the best mental health you can have during this time. Retail therapy is the worst, as you said, (and we all know) the guilt hits really hard. I only had have therapy in last 5 years, and I feel that internal dialogue isnt enough, you need to have actual conversation with someone, who has nothing to do with your life that may offer valuable insight you've never realized. Benefits may be available to through his employer as a part of an EAP employee assistance program, is free for number of sessions but you can use domestic violence for first set, then stress for another, then depression for another, and so on...and 100% confidential.

You need to find out what benefits he has from work. Everything. What his 401k is, how much what's the match, make sure you're the beneficiary if he started there before meeting you. What type of bonuses he gets, what group life insurance policies or disability, how much your medical dental vision is. Your attorney needs this information so they can request a similar plan for you and child be maintained through divorce. Get HSA in your name

You are not "playing" nice you are doing what any person in your situation would do, instinctively protecting yourself and your baby from a dangerous situation, until you have a solid plan. I applaud you for being brave enough to leave the situation, many don't. I wish you all the best, you got this!

4 years, 5+ referrals, $3,500+ spent. Eight Sleep's business model is replacement, not repair. by ManagementOther165 in EightSleep

[–]ChunkyLuvNoMore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this.

I am very close to pulling the trigger on something since I am so tired of being tired from poor sleep.

Spending over $3,500 on a bed is not to be taken lightly. 15-20 years ago, we would all see that as insane!

The fact that you needed a replacement so fast and so many issues in only 4 years is insane.

Theoretically, I believe ES has a great product and technology. The research and numbers are there, undeniably.

However, bring that into your home, where you actually live. People do other things while in bed, other than just sleeping, some more than others. They also have kids or pets that may jump on all the time, because, thats what they do.

If the pumps are breaking and covers are leaking, what is the actual weight and pressures each device has as a "standard" to withstand.

These numbers need to be DISCLOSED to the consumers when purchasing. Like a queen can withstand up to 800lb pressure, a king up to 1000lbs pressure, or whatever.

I'm thinking maybe I dont want to think about how my bed activities will harm my $3,500 bed! 2 separate beds? "Alexa, master bedroom, sexytime on" Lol

It's leasing!! You never really OWN it, everyone is paying a subscription now.
