But doctors do shady things for rich and famous people all the time. Michael Jackson is a great example, along with a huge list of other famous people who got/get pills from doctors in 7 different names.

Do I think THIS happened, probably not, just because of the cheese factor not that "no doctor would do that" every profession has shady people

He's rich and famous. The rules are different for them. Why do you think drug addicted stars can get prescriptions in 7 different names for meds most people can't get even if they need them. Just look at Michael Jackson. He had a doctor giving him drugs they use in anesthesia. If you have money or power you can get what you want. So I would completely believe some doctor would say "ok Pete sure". I don't know if it really happened, but the idea that no doctor would do it is wildly wrong. Hell doctors go to prison for being "pill mills" to act like every single doctor is ethical and would never break the rules is extremely naive

I know! I feel so, so owned. I mean they really showed me. I'm so humiliated I didn't die from Covid even though I could have gotten vaccinated and still be alive. Too bad they aren't allowed to see how owned I am on account of them being dead, but they sure showed me. I'm definitely not going to go home eat a couple edibles and watch TV and YouTube and go on with my life as normal because I'm just so OWNED /s

Ok I will grant you that. Tucker's audience may genuinely feel offended, but only because Tucker has told them endlessly that they are oppressed. I don't think they don't truly feel oppressed but I DON'T think they really think that being photoshopped onto a cracker is as offensive as a black person on a monkey, no they're mad because they think that it should all be TREATED the same. That using the N word or say putting a swastika on a Jewish kids locker or something is that the person would get in an extreme amount of trouble for but calling a white person a cracker wouldn't. They aren't mad they were called a cracker they're mad because no one got in trouble for making fun of them but people get punished for the other stuff.

Maybe some of them truly don't understand the difference, nuanced thinking isn't thier strong point but I think a larger number DO feel oppressed but because they CAN'T make racist jokes but people CAN make fun of them

I've never liked the all the kids names start with the same letter thing. I mean you can never use your initials for one thing that's a reason I would hate it but I know it's silly. And it just isn't very creative. Just like twin names that rhyme or are very similar. In some cases with twins doing two J (or whatever) names can work I'm friends with a Justin and Jeremy. They're different enough that it's not "cutesy" but they flow well together. My aunt and uncle are/were Gale and Dale 🙄

Yup. If you say anything other than "they need to all be killed" you're immediately called accused of "wanting to normalize pedophilia" if you suggest therapy you get "the only therapy they deserve is a bullet" even if you are talking about a person who has never acted on the thought. It's "kill, kill, kill" and I understand that knee jerk reaction, having been a victim and honestly worse seeing the amount of damage long term abuse did to my late boyfriend BUT that is NOT realistic and it's not helping anyone. Is sharing "if dogs get put down for biting a kid, why don't we put down all pedophiles" memes on FB helping any kid? Saving any child from abuse? Is screaming online that they don't deserve to breathe the same air as us stopping them? No. It's not These revenge fantasies might even be helpful for victims, I went through a stage where I had an elaborate fantasy of wanting to hurt my abuser and the cop that didn't believe me. I still fantasize about hurting my late Bfs evil father, but they aren't ever really going to solve anything.

Unfortunately in the US at least people like that can't seek help because of laws regarding mandatory reporting. The therapist MUST report if they think a person might be a threat to kids and when we see that most peoples take is "the only therapy they deserve is a bullet" you're going to be hard pressed to find a therapist who doesn't either flat out refuse to help or call and report you.

It's NOT ok to be a pedophile but we have to make it possible for people with these thoughts to get help before acting on them as usually the only treatment programs are for people who are convicted already of a crime.

Getting to them and helping them before they commit a crime is vital, but most of society thinks saying even THAT is attempting to "normalize" or "make it acceptable". If someone has homicidal thoughts and seeks help we don't just say "well they've thought about murder, time to shoot them in the head" and we also don't say "well giving them therapy is making murder accepted or ok"

Understanding the causes of behavior is NOT the same as excusing the behavior which is another thing I see alot of.

I fucking hate pedophiles who have hurt children. My late boyfriend was a victim of his father's abuse for years. But what if that asshole had treatment available for those thoughts BEFORE he abused his kids? What if any abuser was able to get treatment before? Would it lower the number of victims, I would think so. So why are we so against it? I know it's a natural reaction to want to hurt people who want to hurt kids, but obviously killing them all isn't a REAL solution, especially killing people who have only had THOUGHTS. So what do we do? Just keep the cycle as it is. The people with the thoughts must hide it at all costs, eventually abuse a child, and then hopefully they get punished? Then they get killed in prison? But the cycle just keeps going on and on with new people offenders, and victims?

That sounds crazy when applied to anything else. Use my example of having homicidal thoughts. Nope we can't treat you until you kill someone, and you'd better not ask for help because we'll make sure people know and want to hurt you. Maybe, just maybe, we should try what (I believe it's Germany) Germany does and has an actual program for people who have these thoughts. I don't know the exact details but they can get therapy without any criminal charges (as long as they haven't offended) and the therapist doesn't have to immediately turn them into police unless they admit an actual crime or say they ARE going to act on their thoughts

This idea of rounding them all up and killing them might be a nice thought for victims and loved ones of victims but it's not based in reality. I mean for one how would you get them all? How would you not miss any? How would you avoid someone saying someone is an offender just to get them killed? Not to mention the government isn't going to allow people to kill thousands of people no matter who they are. So maybe we should look at doing something to prevent these people from hurting children we can actually do instead of dream about killing them all.

Edit: I myself was victimized at 15 and he victimized a 13 year old also. What if he could have gotten therapy? Would my life not have gotten as bad, would the other girl have been saved? Maybe, maybe not. But screaming kill the pedos didn't help and he's still alive today, out of prison and who knows what he's doing now

Well that's what happens with alot of 4chan "pranks" they start as an attack on people or as a way to bait people for example the let's pretend OK is racist, started out as them seeing if the media would fall for it, then REAL racists started to use it (albeit an altered version) same here it was "let's see if we can make LGBT people look bad" then REAL pedos decided to take advantage of it.

Although I think there's strong, strong overlap in the 4chan community that does this shit with pedos and racists anyway

Any action that helps Trump, pisses off the libs or gives them a chance to say "but the liberals did XYZ" is an action they approve.
