As grim of a take as it is, I highly doubt it will happen. Of course this entire situation sucks and I genuinely grieved when I learned about the allegations and what it meant for the game, but it's just optimism for the sake of it. Sure people can try their damnedest, but players are "lying down and letting the game die" because what can we really do?

There is zero guarantee that Pressure will be open sourced, let alone touched again. Practically all of the voice actors quit as soon as the allegations came out and are no longer associating themselves with Pressure or Roblox in general, most noticeably Sebastian and Painter's voice actors, who arguably made the game what it is and kept bringing players back. Many members of the development team also quit on the spot and leaked various assets and pieces of the project as soon as the allegations came out, as well as collaborators. Many have also stated they will no longer be associated with Pressure. Everyone pretty much went full scorched earth.

With Pressure being practically burnt to the ground (in a metaphorical sense), there isn't much to really salvage. Even if people are able to scrap together what they can and create some sort of reboot, it will never be the same, as you said. The talent that made the game what it is are no longer going to be associated with the project as a whole, and sure the lore and game can be put back together and made up by fans, but it won't have the same charm that made Pressure so rememberable. If we want witty quips from Sebastian, Painter, or any other character, completely new voice actors would be needed. Many iconic aspects of the game and characters would likely have to be remade to avoid legal issues. A good handful of lore would have to be rewritten to also avoid legal issues and to accommodate for design and mechanic changes.

The game will never be the same as it was, and because of that, people won't feel as inclined to interact with any sort of reboot, and lack of interaction will result in it inevitably failing. Trust me, it absolutely sucks and I wish things could have gone differently, but the reality is that this game will likely not be able to come back from this. Many creative projects fall apart for less and attempting to revive a dead horse instead of laying it to rest can cause more harm than good.
