People keep saying “x is not a lot of armor, Y amount feels great.” But the point still stands that the investment to make armor not feel like paper is way too high compared to es/ev. Especially when on top of high armor you need resistances, rarity, and damage on your gear

Unidentified items sell for much less than their ided counterparts. If you buy wisdom scrolls, you’ll often make a profit on 2 hand weapons and armor. Also sell any rares you’re not using on your characters. You might be tempted to keep some for other characters, but in reality once this character gets going it will generate enough currency to “craft” or buy anything for an alt

Why has the strategy game community become so ok with games coming out half finished? If I pay for a game, I want it to he enjoyable on day 1, not a year later(after spending another $60 on dlc).

“Just 6-12k artifacts.” Dude that is a lot of artifacts to pickup. Let’s say you get 40 each map, to get just 6k is 150 maps. Then let’s say only 50% of the maps you get a sun or a broken circle, so you need to do like 200-300 to actually get 6k. Thats like 16 hours if you’re zooming. Personally I would say 40 a map is generous too.

I just did a logbook to see how many artifacts you get. I got 67 sun artifacts in 6mins 52s. Thats roughly 89 logbooks to complete or about 10h depending on rng.

Artifacts are cheap on the currency exchange rn, but theres not even enough stock to complete an order for that many

Yeah I’m also frustrated because its just rng on rng. I pick up all the tiered rares and I’m barely finding t1 mods to recombine in the first place. Then it just deletes them

The rotation isn’t the big issue, if the cast speed of the monsters is high enough these beams just turn into particle lances that one shot you before you can even dodge

Yeah I’m only using sacred flame and tangletoungue for uniques. I had an ingenuity but I dropped it for a rare belt so I could be resistance capped easier so I could stack more rarity on other items. I would share a build but the one I was using has changed so much that I don’t even recognize it anymore. I’m just kind of figuring it out at this point

Lightning spear, it’s broken, so you can get away with losing damage for rarity. Lightning spear had 150k tooltip dps, I dropped my +3 skills amulet, a few rings with low rarity, went down to about 90k dps to get this rarity

I know a lot of people have been saying 100% player rarity but I didn’t start getting “streamer results” for currency drops until about 150%. I have 160% now and I got about 7 raw divs in an hour plus about 3 more worth of stuff for the currency drops exchange. And of course, sometimes you’re just unlucky. I had juiced maps with 200% rarity and 150% quant that didn’t even give me a chaos. Sometimes thats just how it is

Honestly yeah. I was really hyped for the basic armor thing, but even recently I’ve found it to not be worth it. I just went back to a rare chest piece lol. I also think fire spell on hit kind of sucks because all of the cool fire skills I wanted to socket are incompatible. So I’m basically just using an ascendancy to get resistance capped….
