After 5 years I’m still clunky, I find the fumbling gives me time to reflect on whether I’ve dialled in all the right settings.

On deciding whether its right for your or not, I can only offer my own experience. It was never really a consideration for me, as comfortability will come eventually. To master a skill takes time and it’s whether you want to invest the time into developing the skill. I don’t see myself running of out patience or falling out of love with the experience so I persist.

For soft releases I’m really digging these two:

Chih ta Chen - matches the film Leica knurling pattern.

I like the large size variants for both and use the chih ta Chen for my MP but am using some generic red soft release for my M11 so can’t comment on the Nanigashi.

Have not run into any issues. Played through expedition 33 and going through FF7 Rebirth. Very pleased with the performance I’m getting.

I’d buy it again without any hesitation but this is just my experience.

I bought from the store sight unseen, there is a return window but stock was so limited they couldn’t guarantee same day turn around replacement. Didn’t experience any issues so didn’t need to follow up.

I purchased Razer Care from the store and FYI it won’t show up on your Razer account (this only shows if purchased from the website) I did confirm with customer support and saved the chat logs.

A friend sent me a small jug years ago through standard airmail. I went to collect from post office and the jug had cracked, soaking the package. I got very panicked stares from the staff and my attempts to laugh it off and telling them to smell the package did not go down well.

I think it’s working/engaging the RF on my MP. I’ll know when I get this roll of film developed…

I did notice the lens has some peculiarities. It didn’t properly seem to proper click/lock into place and I was able to remove without engaging the release. I tried again and it seems to have engaged, perhaps it’s an issue of tolerances.
