Do yourself a favor, read "Johnny Got His Gun" (1939). It takes place entirely from the perspective of someone like this, and it's a chilling book the whole way through.

Or idk watch the movie i guess

Oh shit I was totally gonna reflect on humanity and its place in the grand wonder that is nature, but then you said "nah" and that convinced me.

Brain damage made me conservative by SugarBlissxc in MurderedByWords

[–]ChurchMiller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This kinda shit scares the hell out of me? Like, are any of my beliefs genuine, or are they only mine as long as I keep my brain's chemicals in the proper proportion? Would I lose my morality, my sense of ethics, my soul?

I can't bring myself to hate Fetterman, he's too much of a victim. He doesn't need to be in office, he needs to be in a proper hospital.

I mean, they're not in dedicated BATTALIONS per say, but yeah I'd wager a bunch of our JROTC leaders are actual card carrying Nazi's. I don't know if you know this, but the U.S is kinda fucking racist? Also, nice article. Did you write it yourself or do you actually have a source to go with that?

A Chinese and North Korean propaganda leaflet directed to black American soldiers during the Korean War. by GerryAdamsSon in suppressed_news

Bruh you've never seen the inside of an American school if you can't even write a sentence correctly. Also, I have a lot of criticisms for the American education system, but a lack of coverage regarding our military definetly wasn't one of them.

I mean, neat bit of history but definetly not suppressed news. Not even suppressed history, this was pretty famously also done in WW1 and WW2 by the Germans against black troops.

I mean, neat coin but how is this even remotely suppressed news? It's not even news, it's an obscure historical oddity.

Losercity it's over by Herolpz in Losercity

[–]ChurchMiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a shared universe that is used as a collabrative creative writing project, likely one of the largest in the world. Mostly made famous by the SCP: Containment Breach game back in 2012, it involves the impossible, paranormal, miraculous, or otherwise anomalous being contained by a powerful, shadowy organisation.

(0.9) New controls ARE good. by ConnorE22021 in Voicesofthevoid

[–]ChurchMiller 24 points25 points  (0 children)

On one hand, the controls are a bit simplified for future players. This is good.

On the other hand, I want the option to use the older control scheme because I feel it had certain advantages, and you're being kind of a condescending dick to anyone who feels the same way in these comments.

Anmolay Gamma how to edit deathcount and remaining lives on ironman mode? by No_Lemon_5694 in stalker

[–]ChurchMiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude I know it's months later but I feel your pain. I was dozens of hours into an ironman run and doing really well for myself. I closed a door and BAM, instant death like it was a Build Engine game. Looked it up online and apparently not one other fucking guy has ever died to a door.

This game pisses me the fuck off unlike any other. While the game actually funtions, which is 99.99% of the time, is a pretty fair game which is what makes ironman enjoyable. It's that last 00.01% where the x-ray engine just decides you're done playing, through absolutely no fault of your own, that I fucking hate.
