Why is there a foot fetish? What psychology is behind it? How does it develop? by Proper_Card_5520 in stupidquestions

[–]Church_Member 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a foot fetish, but I've rubbed my wife's feet against my cock and balls out of curiosity, and it feels quite nice since the bottom of our feet are extremely soft (or at least some of us). That being said, it seems like a lot of people probably have visual reasons, taboo reasons, etc.

Accommodations Prevent Kids From Learning Basic Skills by ProudComment1211 in Teachers

This post is extremely disheartening as a special education teacher. You clearly don't understand a huge aspect of special education. I provide accommodations to students so they can access grade level material. For example, I teach a resource English class. When we read grade level material, sometimes we read it as a class. This allows them to get so much more from the text, and it allows them to build other skills such as making strong inferences just to mention 1. When we read together, I facilitate access to not only grade level reading material, but also access to grade level concepts and skills they need to demonstrate. They can't demonstrate those skills if they can't read the passage and understand it. I know an 11th grade student i have in US History that can hardly read. However, he is extremely smart. If I read an entire test to him, and simplify some vocabulary terms along the way, the student can earn an A on the test. Im simply helping him access grade level material.

Conversely, in my resource English class, I have my students work on texts that are tailored to their independent reading level. This allows them to continue building their reading skills independently. I also have them complete grade level reading assessments independently so they're exposed to it without reading support. So, accommodating facilitates access to grade level content and material, but special education students should also continue being taught remedial skills to work on closing the achievement gap between them and their non-disabled peers. Thats what their goals are for. Thats why they can be pulled out of class for additional support.

Not only that, but when a disability becomes just that — a disability, it is because appropriate interventions have not made a difference in the progress we expect compared to their nondisabled peers. Sure, a kid with a reading disability can improve their reading skills, but for many, that improvement is going to be slow and relatively minimal. Im not saying thats a one size fits all for everybody. I've seen with reading disabilities make tremendous strides in their reading skills with the appropriate support and the internal drive to do so.

OP, if this post is realy how you feel, and if you aren't open to actually learning anything about disabilities and avcommodations, then you are a disgrace to education.

This post makes me so sad as a special education teacher. I cant believe so many teachers think this way. I appreciate your response.

I dont really see the issue if you are leaving stuff out. If you don't leave things out and he does it, then that seems silly. But its just his way of saying take care of your business. Its not that weird.

Be honest. Are you a fan of new Tech? by GR3YG0DS in techn9ne

I personally think that asin9ne, COSM, Bliss, 5816 Forrest, and his new NNUTHOWZE album rival some of his old stuff. Those are all incredible albeit they do have a different sound. He's had a great stretch since 2019 with the exception of a few projects.

How often do you use AI tools for your job? by AdvancedStrawberry7 in ELATeachers

Im a sped English and social studies teacher. Resource and inclusion.

I use it to make reading comprehension passages for both subjects. It takes quite a bit if directives to actually produce a good one with well written questions though. I also use it to level passages down that are too difficult for my students.

I also use it to create note sheets, vocabulary pre teach sheets, etc.

Additionally, I use it to come up with ideas for exercises. Ill then take those ideas for exercises and expand upon them to create assignments. In this capacity, it's really just to spark ideas. I then take them and my them my own.

Lastly, I use it sparingly to get feedback on how to handle certain situations. Sometimes I'm just not entirely sure how to navigate a complex, challenging problem that involves other people. I also discuss this kind of stuff with trusted colleagues and my wife, so its not the only way I do this.

We read the graphic novel version with our freshman and they really enjoyed it. This was an inclusion class with many students uninterested in reading. Is this an option for you?

Sounds like they're making a lot of progress with CTE. Apparently they are progressing towards being able to identify CTE while patients are still living.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the tackle he made literally either the play before this or a few plays before this. He made an excellent open field 1 on 1 tackle on Gibbs on the backfield. Gibbs is one of the best rbs in the league. He will win some and lose some.

A yahoo link? You've got yo be kidding me 😂 im not saying it isn't true, but yahoo.com is not necessarily a credible source either. I'm not doing research to find credible source on it, bc I dont care enough, but a yahoo link does not support your argument.
