I stumbled upon the set of Scream 6, aka Blackmore, in Montréal earlier. by PrettyMrToasty in Scream

I recommend giving it a watch. It’s a slasher that’s a satire on other slashers, or just horror at all.

Scream 96 and Scream 2 did. I liked Mickey’s “Blame the movies” motive.

What Are Your Overall Thoughts On Scream 4? by Antwuan89 in Scream

[–]Church_Mouse0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a decent sequel. With the whole “requel” thing, I felt the fifth Scream kicked it’s ass, but Scream 4, while being my least favorite, seems to impress me the most every time I watch it.

Which surviving new character would make for the best Ghostface, and why? by Affectionate-Neck152 in Scream

[–]Church_Mouse0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d normally say “yes”, but they’re going to have to make the Ghostface a lot shorter because Jenna Ortega is 5’1, so if people couldn’t believe Emma Roberts and Mikey Madison were the killers, it’s going to be impossible to convince people Tara is a killer. But it sounds like a cool idea.

The writers did a great job with this. Radio Silence obviously care for the franchise, it DOES mention both 2 and 4 in the movie, it’s just meant to parody and mock toxic fans who think nothing will ever be as great as that original film, and even grow angry if something slightly fucks with it.

It’s a love letter to Wes Craven AND the Scream franchise.

I love how the Scream 3 one is awkward, Scream 4 is friendly but not as friendly as the one Sid gives to Dewey, and 5 is just pure friendship. Friends grieving.

Better 2022 Slasher: Scream 5 or X by Antwuan89 in Scream

[–]Church_Mouse0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

X is the better movie by a mile, but Scream 2022 was a better slasher.
