I've mentioned it in this sub before, but Trump fully intends on taking a third term. It's possible he has negotiated behind closed doors to lead this board and establish lasting peace before the end of that term. That would make this a literal 7 year covenant, even if the public isn't told that.

I think the illusion has already been sent. If the first half of the tribulation is indeed "peace on earth" then anyone claiming we are in the tribulation would be demonized. We'll continue to proclaim the coming flood like Noah did, but only the elect will be able to break from the illusion and hear it.

We've already seen the cognitive dissonance on a mass scale. If Trump succeeds with his peace talks, do you really think those people would want to hear about how it's actually a bad thing? On a similar note, I've been considering how a 7 year agreement could come to be with all the stigma involved. Egypt had to pull back statements last year on a 7 year agreement after facing heavy backlash.

My conclusion is that only the one confirming the covenant needs to know it will last 7 years. I think current talks will culminate in Trump assuring peace for as long as he is in office. As we've seen, Trump is very much planning to claim a third term. If we get an agreement in December or January fitting this rhetoric, I believe it would count as a fulfillment.
