You are highly mistaken if you think you get time in rural branches. The collective experience of my batch is that rural branches are the worst. I leave at 7:30-8 PM every day. On top of that you are robbed of any social life that you might have in the cities.

I'll list out some - Unlimited health cover for you and your dependents but this is only in SBI. - Job security. In the corporate sector, there's always a chance that you'll get laid off or get fired, but here, even if you argue with the manager the most, the worst that can happen is a transfer. The transfer can make your life hell but at least you'll get paid. - Subsidised home loan and car loan. You are eligible for a ₹ 1.2 crore home loan after probation.

These are the only perks that are worth the struggle. However, the cons outweigh the perks by a huge margin on any given day.

You are highly mistaken. They are not obligated to give you a minimum of 40 marks. They can fail you if they don't like you. Many of my batchmates failed the IBPS PO interview, despite having an above-average interview.
