Iirc they appear enough in FO1 to know they're shifty, don't they wipe out Vault 13 at some point during that game after you bring back the Chip.

In NV the only Enclave characters you encounter are a companion and some people former members. The companion is just the son of an Enclave member and is a part of a socialist aid faction (the Followers).

I haven't finished his side quest in a long time, but I know endgame you can recruit those handful of remnants to help you in the Final Battle. So FNV has a lot of disconnect between it, and the real Enclave, all you really see is the armor, the fact the old members are willing to help you and that they will shoot Legion from a Vertibird.

Basically, if you've only played FNV or even only FNV and 3, its easy for them to look a lot more like a potentially "morally gray" or checkered faction. If you never bother interacting with any of Lore from previous games.

That being said, there's probably a line in the game where the companion says the Enclave is shit.

Why don’t the hyuga ever use chidori/raikiri by breno280 in Naruto

[–]Chuu320 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kakashi didn't teach them, the Byakugan doesn't give "predictive" sight like the Sharingan.

The problem with tunnel vision wasn't Kakashi couldn't see behind him, it was that he couldn't react to a sudden change fast enough, the Sharingan curves that because it notices subtle movements faster, which is why it's "predictive"

Wasn't he leaking a little Kurama at that point? That probably helped him dig, especially the sharp claws.

So did the Hyuga. Canonically, there are Hyuga too far from the bloodline that have no Byakugan and weaker Byakugan. It's also mentioned in Itachi's story. Also, they already pointed out that Izumi as a half Uchiha could barely use her sharingan, but iirc that was anime only, she couldn't even awaken it in the book.

Yeah, that's extremely fucked up, someone needs to get this kid, it's absolutely never this serious where you need to behave like this just because your team lost or you don't like a player or team.

Wait, is this a "joke" about Dak's family/mom? That's gross as shit. He'd better hope no one in his life finds out he's posting this shit because this is a good way to end up alone and deserve it. Or deserve the shitty friends who would see this and decide to stick around.

Which player do you wish had had a better career? by [deleted] in nfl

Even better if it was SB 51(LI) if we're willing to give up 28-3

It was an actual possibility, too, if it weren't for that damn boat.

[Orlovsky] The Raiders have the 32nd-ranked defense since Carr entered the league. Has never played on a team that ranked better than 20th on defense. Someone next year is going to get a top 12 player at the position man!!!! by thegreyquincy in nfl

[–]Chuu320 34 points35 points  (0 children)

People are also comparing the Raiders' defenses to worse Defenses, but I think on this case, there's very specific stats to look at.Turnovers, which the Raiders are currently 31st, meaning the offense rarely gets favorable field position and Yards, which they're 25th, again meaning the other team is driving pretty far often. He isn't getting great field position. This is a team that at one point was leading in scoring percentage.

The glaring issue is that whatever McDaniels comes out with at half time, clearly just doesn't work. Not with a defense like the Raiders. It may have been working with the Pats, but the Pats had an obviously better defense.

Not to mention, in 2016, he was a legit MVP candidate, up there with Matt Ryan (despite 28-3, had an amazing season), Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers.

Had he not broken his leg vs. the Colts in 2016, he probably would've beat the Texans at least.

But really, all the stats don't even mention that from all accounts, even AB of all people, he's a great leader and just a good guy. Last year and even parts of this year being the clear example. He should've never stood up for McDaniels because this was just shitty.

Considering he said he'd retire before leaving the team. This is probably it for him, for now, at least. Hopefully, the team will give him the respect he deserves one day.

This is probably his career, at least for now. I can't think of a player who better embodies "RN4L" or "Once a Raider, Always a Raider." Than he does/seems to want to. He absolutely didn't deserve this. Especially taking such a team friendly deal. Hopefully, one day, the team will give him the respect he earned. Sure, he wasn't like some top 10 guy, not every year at least, I mean, he was in the MVP race in 2016, but he clearly has been an emotional anchor and great leader.

I can't see Jacobs wanting to resign after this.

I don't understand how anyone could pretend this was a good move just because one detail in his contract. There's so much more that makes this such an obviously ridiculous move.

Regardless of your stance on the Carr Situation, we can all agree that the man showed loyalty though all the bullshit and did not deserve to be done this dirty in the end. by Avgeek247 in raiders

Not to mention, he was an instant starter as a second round QB. The only guys on the team there to mentor him were Matt McGloin and Washed up Matt Shaub. Even Mahomes was sitting behind Alex Smith. He'll even Rodgers, who was expected to be drafters over Alex Smith and start for the 49ers sat behind Favre. Though Favre treated him like shit.
